Customer Review: Pain to put together!
The lady above must be a rocket scientist to put it together in a half an hour. I doubt her husband would have been faster, but probably put it together correctly. It took around 1 to 1.5 hours to put it together. The directions were real bad, but made it through. The directions do not tell you which screw to use for the steering wheel. It also does not mention what to do with the lego thing. There are holes for every screw, unlike what the previous review said, but you have to find them and bend the wood to match the hole with the screw.
It is a pain to put together, but once it is up, it is a nice play area for your youngster.
Customer Review: Wonderful
This toy is huge in compared to the size I thought it would be. It has so many toys on it and so much to teach kids. My boys 1, 2, and 3 yrs old love it. It is also very heavy so the kids cannot move it all over the house. The wheels to the train spin around, the window is filled with numbers and if you spin them around they also have the alphabet. You can interchange the front of the train with a puzzle or legos. Totally cute!!! I will post pictures tonight to show the size compared to a toddler.
My only complaint is that it arrived broken in one spot and the screws provided do not fit. The screw for the steering wheel isn’t long enough and the kids have already broke it off, the screws actually went though the wood in another location and we had to replace them with shorter screws. Oh and the directions are awful… only pictures, no words or descriptions on how to assemble it. I put it together by myself and it took me about 1/2 an hour, I am sure my husband would have finished it alittle quicker but I didn’t want to wait.
