Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway – Hector
A huge and happy hopper truck, Hector’s name stands for “Heavy Engineered Coal Truck On Rails,” but he used to be afraid to be filled with coal! But, like the other friends on Sodor, Hector has a unique job to do. Vehicle includes a character card explaining the unique personality and job on Sodor. Vehicles aid in developing fine motor skills, color identification and counting skills.
Customer Review: Good looking, nothing exemplary
A good representation of the character in wooden-railroad form. Good size letters on the side are good for helping younger users recognize a few of their letters. I don’t know of anything that is meant to “work” with Hector’s opening: the cargo container that comes with cranky and a few of the other “destination” toys do not fit. A few things that I can think of to put inside would be too small for an under-3 child.
For awhile this was my son’s favorite, but that was, of course, supplanted by other characters.
