I wasn’t that impressed with this rolling pin, but my four year old son loved it. Bought it as a little extra birthday present and I’ve never heard him squeal so much with delight. It looks really cheap, and I thought he’d break it for sure, but not yet. (He’s had it about 2 weeks.) After he tired of using it with playdough, he took it outside to play in the sand/dirt/gravel to make smooth “roads”. It is still holding up.
Play dough does stick to it, but we resolved that issue by rinsing off any sticky spots and spraying non-stick cooking spray on the roller.
Not bad for the price.

My son played with this toy for all of two minutes before the red end popped off and the middle rod came out. It is still sitting in pieces waiting to be glued.
