All the connections are ball-joint connections, and all the tracks are grooved on both sides, even for the straight tracks.
If your kid(s) love playing with train sets, these tracks are by far the best value for increasing your collection.

This is a great and less expensive way to expand any wooden rail set, as it’s compatible with Thomas, Brio, Imaginarium and all the other wooden train sets. It’s not quite the same quality as the ones you pay $2 or more per piece, but here you get 100 pieces for less than $40 (not $200 or more as with other brands). Kids love to create their own train layouts (my grandkids are 2 and 3 and they’re both getting pretty good at it).
