This Official Transformers Movie bicycle offers a BMX-like design and gold and red motif that’s accented with decals of Optimus Prime, leader of the heroic Autobots from the 2007 blockbuster. The bike has 18-inch wheels and comes with a pair of sturdy, removable training wheels, which are intended to assist young riders and ensure maximum safety. A double-guard chain guard prevents dangerous chain interference and wheel jamming for added safety. It also features mag wheels, handlebar decal plate, rear fender, and both a rear coaster brake and a front handbrake. The seat height is adjusted with a quick release seat clamp. Some assembly is required. This 18-inch bike is recommended for ages 6 to 9.

Customer Review: Good for a kid, takes a little time to build
I have worked in a bike shop, and it took me about 40 minutes to put the bike together. I think if you were not experienced in building a bike it could take about 1.5 hours. The only problem we have had with the bike is the back braking system is noisy, but other than that, my son really likes it!

Customer Review: Good bike, but needs some revamping
My wife and I bought this bike for my 6 year old. We bought it from ToysRUs, they put it together for us and everything was perfect. The first issue we ran into is that because of the construction of the bike, it doesn’t fit onto any car bike racks that I own. I had to bungee cord it to the rack if we wanted to take it with us. The second issue we ran into was the weight of the bike. It’s very heavy for our 6 year old to pedal. The last issue was something that another reviewer had mentioned, the back fender broke off within a short time of getting the bike. It could’ve happened with the way I strapped it to the bike rack or possibly a design flaw, I’m not totally sure. All in all, it’s a good solid bike, it just wasn’t a good fit for us. We bought it solely because our son liked transformers. We should’ve had him ride it around the store before buying it. Oh well, live and learn.
