This toy is a beautiful and functional. It looks great and our son loves. My view is just the guide recommended ages head. We bought this for our son first birthday and while he loved to climb and sit on it, would rock back and forth (like a rotary motion) compared to the other side, it is necessary for the elephants on foot. Now that is almost 2, finally understands and knows how to do it on his own train. Rating: 5.5
