Customer Review: Fisher Price Kid-tough DVD Player
I purchased the DVD player for my Grandaughter and she loves it. It seems to be tough, as she has dropped it several times and it still works fine.

The price is a little high for this DVD player, but if it holds up, it will be well worth the price.

My only complaint is that the stop button is to easy for the kids to push, and you have to start from the beginning of the DVD again, and again, and again. Eventually she will shop pushing it (which she does now just to push the button).

I also wish the accessory kit (on the go travel kit) came with the DVD player. I’m ordering it today, but it would have been nice to have it for the get go.
Customer Review: Great Player…For What it Is
My daughter got this for her 3rd birthday. Yes, the screen is small. You can see that through the packaging when you buy it so I’m not sure why anyone would purchase it thinking it would be bigger. The larger the screen, the larger the protective encasement would have to be. This would create a very large and heavy DVD player. People watch movies on their iPods and have no problem with a small screen. I do not find the screen size to be an issue. My daughter can see it fine and my son, sitting next to her in the car, can see it fine as well.

We have a regular portable DVD player, but I would never let her play with it. It’s not a toy. But this is. If you just want a player that your child can watch then I would not spend the money on this. If you want one that your child can take where they want and you don’t have to worry about it, then this is great.

The battery life is about 2 hours. This is typical for any portable DVD player and actually longer than my laptop battery. I charge it every evening.

The handle makes this very easy for carrying. When she pushes a button it makes a sound so I know when she’s pushing them. The screen display is very crisp and the sound is great. I purchased the case and the travel kit as well. My older son plays travel baseball and we are on the road and at stadiums alot. This player is perfect for that.

The only thing so far that I don’t like is that the lid doesn’t open all the way. You can see a picture of this in the other images at the top of the page. I think it would be easier to put the movies in if it did but that is really a minimal issue. My biggest issue is the price. I DO think it is way overpriced but it’s the only player out there that does what I want it to do. Buy Now from Trusted Amazon.com Click Here
