Constant Companion
This Cabbage Patch Kid, like those who came before her, is sturdy and durable enough for your child to take everywhere. Her white dress and shoes might get dirty at times, but she comes with red plaid shorts that are suitable for playing outside. Soft, Cuddly, and Sweet
The Cabbage Patch Kids have captured hearts for years with their sweet, well-dressed, “adoptable” dolls. The “Official Adoption Paper” and “Birth Certificate” makes kids feel as if they are truly adopting a child. Like real parents, girls can feed the doll with her special spoon and change her diaper. When it’s time for bed, they can undress her. A Velcro tab on the doll’s dress helps little hands to remove it, and other items of clothing come off easily. Kids can also tie and untie her shoes, learning real-life skills in the process.
Always Ready for a Hug
We loved how this chubby, cuddly doll is flexible yet not floppy. Her sweet smile also appealed to us and so did her outstretched arms, which make her look as if she is always ready for a hug. She is fairly easy to dress and undress. Just as in real life, however, it can be challenging to pull her dress off over her head and put it back on. And this cute white dress will get dirty fast. But that won’t stop your little girl from taking this doll everywhere, or from learning real-life skills as she cares for her Cabbage Patch Kid.

Customer Review: CPK 25th Anniversary Kids 2008
I ordered this CPK as a Christmas gift and beat the rush on November 3rd. It came exactly as Amazon.com pictured when I placed my order. My brunette CPK girl came wearing a blue flowered dress with butterfly, freckles, green eyes, left cheek dimple, curly brown hair with pig tails.
CPK has special 25th Anniversary tag sewn into the left side of the doll body with black Xavier Roberts 25th signature on the right buttock. (Please see associated submitted photographs) The CPK is encased in a white anniversary box with special plastic 25th anniversary spoon, CPK hang tag and official adoption papers.
CPK box measures almost 15 inches top to bottom by 8 inches from bottom front to bottom back.
Adoption papers and Birth certificate:
Papers include a birth certificate, official adoption paper with registration number and Carvel ice cream cake coupon. Once registered on the official CPK* web site the name of the CPK can be changed at any time as well as the birthday to anything the owner or adoptive CPK parent likes. Once changed a digital PDF file is available to download and print for the updated birth certificate and a second PDF for the adoption paper.
Certificates will reflect the name of the adoptive parent and the new name of the CPK as well as new birth date and the adoption date. If you happen to purchase two similar dolls you could create your own twin CPK dolls by going online and altering the birth certificates accordingly.
Great toy for children 3+ who want a companion. Also fun for adults who are nostalgic and wanted, but never received a CPK during the insane Christmas rush in the 80′s.
