Star Wars Transformers Mace Windu & Episode 3 Jedi Starfighter The Mace Windu Starfighter appears to be a revamp of the Obi-Wan Transformer with a new color scheme, a little retooling, and a Samuel L. Jackson-esque head sculpt. The Starfighter is trimmed in a matching color to Windu s twin purple lightsabers. In robot mode, the wings buckle backwards and the Starfighter s cockpit form the robot Windu s torso plate. Articulation is fair but somewhat limited. The moth-shaped Jedi Starfighter is equipped with adequate weaponry and maneuverability and armed with ion cannons. The Starfighter cannot enter hyperspace unassisted and is incapable of generating its own force field, but the Starfighter is reasonably fast. Mace Windu was one of the stronger members of the Jedi council, though Windu did ultimately fall during his disastrous attempt to arrest Palpatine. However, if Windu had had the ability to transform his Starfighter into a gigantic uber-Windu, he could have simply squashed Palpatine like a marshmallow bunny, and the Empire would never have existed.

Holds up well to play. My son likes to ‘fly’ this ship around more than transform it. the small parts can be easily lost or swallowed by little ones so we put the small parts away when not being played with. good toy overall.
