Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Deluxe > Clone Trooper Army Action Figure Multi-Pack What these three clone troopers from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith lack in flexibility, they make up for in armature. One soldier stands, ready for combat, with adjustable arms but fixed legs. Another trooper kneels, prepared to take a shot at a lower target. And a third lies on his stomach. All carry black rifles and the sort of cool, utilitarian detachment so common in the ranks of clone troopers. Due to their fixed position, there isn t a lot of action in these action figures but the impressive level of detail mitigates their deficit in versatility. As part of an arranged Star Wars tableau, the clone troopers make for an intimidating display.–Charlie Williams
Customer Review: Small trooper army
This set is not “deluxe”, as it reads on the packaging. There are three clone troopers that are not deluxe at all, just cheap. They do not have any articulated spots, they just kneel, lie or stand on the the ground, depending on which figure. There are also 3 color variations: a standing red one, a kneeling green one and a lying blue one. All three variations are new paints schemes that were not seen in the movie. I wish Hasbro would make a better version of the green one, it looks pretty cool.
This 3-pack is good for collectors who do not play with their figures, it has very limited playability.
Customer Review: It’s an army builder
A quick way of beefing up your Clone Army.
The paint quality is definitely slightly less detailed than the basic or deluxe clone troopers. Their visor to respirator mouth vents are the same stoke of black paint. Compared to the segmented grey and black for Basic figures. There are also random color variants of these figures. Depending on which set you get, one of the figure in the pack will have color marking on thir armor; red/brown spots for the standing one, green for the couching one, and blue stripes for the prone shooter. Their appearances seems to be at random. You never know which one of these figure may be included in this 3 pack.
Their sculpt detail also deffer from the various other basic figure clone troopers. The standing and prone figures have 2 power cells on their backs. The crouching trooper has a highly detailed back piece with extended ribbing to the lower parts of the armor.
Their weapons are molded into their hands so they cannot fall off, or be removed and switched with an alternate one, some cutting and shaving is necessary to switch the factory hands for one that can handle other weapons. But that’s up to the owner.
All 3 of the included figures have the same articulate jointsl 1 ball & socket for the head, 1 rotational joint for each shoulder, one twisting joint for the torso. Legs, elbows, knees and ankles do not pivot or twist like the basic figures.
What you’ll get is a nice set of preposed figure, one of which is in a position that a basic figure will not easily reproduce, with slightly lower quality paintjob, but a fast way to build up a stock of clone troopers for a battle diorama.
Personally, even though they don’t move nearly as well as a basic figure, they’re still a lot of fun for play OR display!
