Well, I think if you've never played with Transformers as a kid work that I do not understand. They shoot really hard to pop them. If not, they will fall apart. and must do a lot of pressure for them to do certain positions, etc. I can see how this family could neither break when hit too hard or think they have blocked, but not actually printing. It can be some tinkering to get it right, if you are very familiar with the concept. <br/>
otherwise, we (both my husband and I loved as a child Transformers and Star Wars), this was fun to put together! hours and my son has fun and games. My only complaint is that I am not easy to find spare parts Gun. My son took the hawk to a friend when two years that they shot and lost the pieces. : (
But even without the parties shooter, my son (4.5) loves this thing. worth every penny!

My son would be the Star Wars toy for Christmas, so I bought this thinking that they love. He only played him once. It 'hard to turn, needs help. He likes action figures much better.
