Great puzzle! My kids and I spent about 3 months putting this together and enjoyed every minute of it. As with other Buffalo puzzles, the pieces are very high quality and fit together exceptionally well. As you can see in the photo we uploaded (the finished product before mating the two halves), the puzzle comes in two bags, which is a huge help. Most especially because there is a ton of sky (around 1,000 pieces). We built the sky by always keeping the build in an L shape and sorting by shade; trying to find the piece that fit a corner instead of trying to find a place for an individual piece. The image is good but not photographic, but that’s expected as (a) it is a drawing not a photograph and (b) it is very large. One reviewer here was disappointed in the image quality, but I think perhaps they thought it was a photo; all in all it’s on par with most puzzles we’ve done. It’s a big project but loads of fun. Keep in mind your work space in buying this puzzle as it is very large and just barely fit our dining room table.

The picture looks great on the box, but by the time they blow it up to allow it be large enough to accommodate 4000 pieces it becomes so blurry you cannot even read the lettering in the picture. It seems these puzzle companies do not actually try to assemble their own puzzles, otherwise they would know what crappy products they produce.

Just finished this puzzle. As mentioned in another review, this puzzle is packaged in two bags, so it is actually like doing two 2000-piece puzzles. And herein lies my “but.” It seems as if they printed the puzzle halves in different processes. The sky colors especially did not match when you put together the two halves. Not a BIG deal, but still disappointing. And, maybe a big deal if you decide to mix the bags together to do a true 4000-piece puzzle.
Otherwise, I enjoyed doing it; found it challenging but not impossible. Warning, you will need an excellent lamp to determine the color of many of the pieces as the colors can be very nuanced.
