This is an adorable gift for a child who enjoys Thomas the Train. Floor puzzles are always such an enjoyable toy, and this one comes in a cute, shaped box.

My 2.5 year old LOVES Thomas and this was the perfect puzzle toy for him. He learned to put it together in a couple of days and now routinely dumps out the pieces and assembles it. He definitely is learning spatial awareness/connection with the shapes and colors and image. I think he could have done this 6 months or more ago, too, if you’re wondering what age to start. He has begun to be mildly bored with it mainly b/c it’s easy for him now, but I suspect if we put it away for 2 weeks he’ll be back on it.

I bought this for my Grand-daughter, as she loves Thomas the Train. However when she started to put it together the pieces didn’t fit real well and the worst part was there was a piece missing-the piece with the face of Thomas’ Train.
