My 1 year old eats EVERYTHING. He eats coins, towels, paper, the floor, socks, the walls, clothes, buttons, sponges. Those are all things he has thrown up recently. We’ve had two professional trainers come in over the past 7 months and nothing has worked. He’s had three abdominal x-rays so far. No matter how well we clean the house he always finds something and I’m always pulling something out of his mouth or even throat. We’re really afraid he’s gonna kill himself. Is it cruel to make him wear a basket muzzle in the house so he doesn’t eat himself to death? We really have no idea what to do here. He has tons of toys that he doesn’t eat, just chews and plays with. It there a such thing as doggy pica..?
