This is a very fun and educational product. My kids like to play it in the car and read their stories back. They are learning parts of speech while having a good time. The only complaint is that the beeps can’t be turned off.

Customer Review: VERY sharp, dangerous pieces
We have this toy in a “boy” version. The main problem: it has a lot of small pieces (arms, legs) with VERY sharp corners. The manufacturer made no effort at all to round corners. I have never seen a puzzle with such sharp, dangerous elements. Some of them are like long thin wooden knives. I would not want to live an active child with this thing alone. Notice that the “recommended age” is 4. Perhaps a 4 y/o would have no problem with dangerous pieces, but s/he would also have no interest in such a simple toy. The realistic age of a kid’s interest is 2.5 to 3.5 y/o. For that age, the toy is simply dangerous. Also, “educational” part is silly. A kid old enough to understand what it means to have muscles on top of organs will have no interest in playing this toy. The “educational” value of seeing a skeleton and then lungs is mostly lost on a 2.5 y/o.
Customer Review: Great learning tool!
This is a great tool, and my children really seem to enjoy this puzzle (they are 3.5 and 2 years old). They can put the different layers of the puzzle by themselves, after I showed them a few times. We’ve had it for over a month now, and they still play with it several times a day.

Customer Review: Really small but quite portable
The photos could be misleading. The puzzles are really small and one feels disappointed at first sight after opening the box. Yet, my 3 year old was able to play with these and after some encouragement and help was able to finish these easily. Given another chance would I buy again, most likely ‘no’. Customer Review: Good choice for first jigsaw puzzles
My eighteen-month-old son is crazy about trucks and other large vehicles so these puzzles hold his interest, though he is just beginning to understand how to put the pieces together. We’ve had this toy for about a month now, and it seems to be holding up to fairly rough usage. I think we will enjoy these puzzles for at least several more months, if not years, as he learns to play with them in different ways.

the puzzle is smaller than regular puzzles, but let this not stop you from buying. very durable, great for those little hands, my son is 2.7 years, and he already can do all of these, we have three boxes with different patterns, but trucks are the favorite. we play with them at least once a day. Customer Review: Great puzzle!
This was the first Melissa and Doug toy I bought for my 3 year old. I was very pleased that she mastered it by herself after us only working on it with her 1 time. The pieces are large and durable. They go together easily and the colors are bright. Each piece is very recognizable as to where it goes, no ambiguous pieces. The puzzle is not square so it did not give me the opportunity to teach her about starting with the edge pieces, but she just starts with the animal piece she finds first and builds. This puzzle just reminded me once again that I underestimate her abilities at such a young age!
Customer Review: Floor puzzle
My 2 grandsons will work this often they are 8 and 4. The picture is so pretty you could almost frame it the pieces are large for little hands and they are thick to keep them from getting out of shape. I would recommend this to anyone with children.
I feel children need more items like puzzles and books and less TV and Video games.
