My son loves Thomas the Tank Engine, so this was a wonderful addition to his collection. He sits for hours playing with his set and uses his imagination to pretend he’s really at the Island of Sodor.
Customer Review: Solid well made toy, easy to use for 2 year old
This is one of the best things I got for my son’s wooden train set. First of all unlike some of the newer buildings this is an all wood toy, no plastic, not even a spring or a magnet. It does not have a track attached to it and has a nice weight to it so it can be picked up and used anywhere on your track without reconfiguring everything. It works all on gravity and works surprisingly well, my two year old was able to get it right away and has has such a feeling of accomplishment (“I did it”). It comes with 4 barrels each with it’s own label (oil, flour, etc). On the sides of the building is what appears to be a lamentate with well done graphics. This set also comes with one cargo car for the barrels. Since there are no magnets the barrels go from the loader to the car without the need to touch them. In summary it is well made, great graphics and simply looks better than some of the generic stuff. This one item is deserving of Learning Curve’s claim of being a “Premium Wooden Toy”.
