I didn’t realize it was mono , not stereo, thus the dvd player gets only the white cord plugged in icon sad Barbie Bloom Tube BAR322 13 TV with Digtal Tuner …… the red just dangles in the wind.
Then it has a 2″ darker area running horizontal. So not too thrilled…

But all it all its cute for my 4 year old girl… they love it.

Customer Review: A Super Cool Lego Set
We got this for my 8 year old son for Christmas and he had a blast putting it together. My husband assisted him with the assembly, but I think he could’ve done it on his own. The car has lots of neat details and he was impressed with the engine and the moving parts. If you or someone you know loves Ferraris this would be a great gift. The price isn’t bad either!

The LEGO Racers Ferrari 430 Spider was probably THE most popular item among LEGO fans this past Christmas! It was the #1 request from my grandson, and I tried in vain to find it on the shelves at the BIG toy stores and big box stores. Leave it to LEGO to make a quality product that appeals to kids of all ages, but this one especially geared to the 8 YO group (and up). All pieces accounted for, assembly instructions concise and easy to follow, finished product true to the box picture, with a minimum of frustration on the part of my grandson! And, leave it to Amazon.com to actually stock the product they sell, which has not always been my experience on other websites.

Customer Review: Surprisingly bad workmanship!
Having just received this as a gift from my stepdaughter for Father’s Day (which I coordinated with my wife based on the other reviews here), I am especially disappointed at the horrific quality. The pieces are so poorly made that they are tilting, wobbly, and easily fall over on their own during play. Some of the pieces were cut haphazardly and the black King tilts like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It would be funny and a no-brainer to simply return if it weren’t for the shock after the positive reviews. It makes me suspect that the other reviews are placed by people at the company who makes this item. Hate to say it, but this set is crap and absolutely NOT worth the money. And I think the reviews are quite possibly placed by shills, not actual customers. Junk, junk, junk.

I am very pleased with the Chess, Checkers & backgammon set I received. It was as advertised, solid wood and very nicely finished. So different from the sets found in many toy stores which are cardboard covered with vinyl to simulate wood. The only criticism I would make is that the checker pieces could be larger for greater ease in handling for persons with poor co-ordination. I’m sure it will give us many years of enjoyment and was well worth the price.

How to Organize Christmas Toy Shopping

It’s so easy to go overboard when shopping for kids this time of year. We want them to enjoy all the things we
didn’t have growing up. It’s important to set limits though.

1. List all the children you’ll buy for this Christmas. Don’t forget an extra toy for your local shelter.

2. Set a firm budget for each child.

3. Note individual interests, hobbies and collections.

4. Ask them what they want for Christmas. You may think Will needs more Legos, but all he really wants is
a caboose for his train set.

5. Look through mail order catalogs and internet toy sites for ideas and note them on your list. Place an
order if you find the perfect toy.

6. Look through your local phone directory for a list of toy stores in your area. There might be some you
aren’t aware of.

7. Go shopping with list in hand. As you make purchases mark them off your list. Keep track of how much is left
in each child’s budget. If you are tempted to go beyond the budget simply write down the item as a future birthday
gift idea.

8. Buy paper, bows and tags if you don’t already have them. Spend an evening or two wrapping gifts. You did it!
