Toy Story 12″ Buzz Lightyear Electronic Room Guard
Toy Story 12″ Buzz Lightyear Electronic Room Guard If intruders don’t want to get on Buzz Lightyear’s bad side, then they’d better stay outside. And who better to protect your galaxy sector (or bedroom) than the leader of the Universe Protection Unit himself, featured in the hit movie? Standing almost 14 inches tall on his black-and-silver pedestal, our rugged plastic hero is a battery-powered (two AA demo batteries included) protector, as well as a swell conversationalist. His trio of voice sampler buttons elicits anything from “I’m Buzz Lightyear; I come in peace” to activation of the motion control sensor. Get too close while Buzz is in activation mode (“The Intergalactic Security System will be armed in 5 seconds; please leave this sector!”), and he’ll not be shy about telling you that it’s “Time to blast off!” He’ll stay on the job, too, until deactivated using your secret button code sequence. Not that he’s all talk: additional buttons activate laser sounds and spring-release jetpack wings, too. Articulated arm joints and tilting face shield suggest that if there’s anything Buzz can’t do, one might have to search infinity and beyond to find it. –Tony Mason
Customer Review: More poor Chinese contruction
I would gladly pay double for a toy not made in China. Their motto must be “as long as it looks good.” I bought this for my son this Christmas 2008. I am glad I took it out of the box and made sure it was working before I gave it to him because I found that the laser light didn’t work. I had to resolder the circuit board! It took an hour just to put it back together!! While I was in there I muffled the speaker with duct tape. Its way too loud. To boil it down, all my 2 year old son wants is for the laser to light and make noise, and for Buzz to say “to infinity and beyond”. But this toy is not like the old ones. You will find that the “room guard” feature is so obnoxious that you will want to return the toy due to that alone. All I wanted was the normal Buzz, not all this extra junk. The dumb black base Buzz is standing on can be unscrewed and thrown away. And one last thing, good luck understanding the “room guard” instructions. They are written all over the box in separate places. The whole thing is just pathetic really. The toy is not so bad if you take the batteries out.
Customer Review: Buzz Will Protect Your Room
I got this buzz lightyear room guard when I was 4 years old now I am 10 years old.I clened my buzz lightyear room guard so it is nice and clean but his front helmet is missing and his stickers came off but I don’t need the stickers all I need is the helmet and it is clen condition.I read reviews about this buzz it says that it can be removed from the stand but my mom would not let me because it might be ruined but it is okay thats how it is.The retractable wings stay on and is activated by the red button not by itself. The batteries are still working and I like the over 35 phrases because this buzz lightyear is my favorite toy still this is a cool toy.

Apples to Apples Kids
Apples to Apples Junior is the young version of the Apples to Apples original game that’s been hailed as a national competition winner by Mensa, the high-IQ society. In both versions, players are dealt five red apple cards and try to make the closest match possible to a word on the judge’s green apple card. In Apples to Apples Junior, if you’re holding a quintet consisting of, for example, Winnie the Pooh, Farms, Swimming, Bumble Bees, and The First Day of School, you play one of the five to match Loud. If the judge selects your card as the best match, you keep the green apple card; if you win four you’re king of the orchard. Apples to Apples Junior includes rules for a couple of tasty variations, too. Crabapple play awards the card to the player with the worst match, while Quick Picked Apples rewards speedy card selection by eliminating from consideration the last card played to a green apple card. Fast and easy to learn, Apples to Apples Junior is a bushel and a peck of fun. –Tony Mason
Customer Review: Hours of shear laughter.
Hours of shear laughter. Everyone in our family loves this game. I brought it to a family reunion at Tahoe a few years back and now we all own our own set. I added the the Kids addition so the little ones could join in the fun. We are a big game playing family but even my husband who avoids board games enjoys this game.
Customer Review: Wonderful game
This game is entertaining, silly, and educational. I am a speech therapist, and I use it to help kids figure out descriptor words. They love the game, and I love how easily it gets them involved.

Hasbro Electronic Catch Phrase Game – Second Edition
Ever play “Hot Potato” with a spud that ticks and talks? Welcome to Electronic Catch Phrase, the battery-powered (three AAA, not included) blend of clue deduction and race against the clock. Two teams of two or more players each alternate turns, guessing the answers to clues in 11 categories, from Food & Drink to Tech & Inventions. Set the timer on the discus-like game unit, and the clue-giving countdown begins; if a team’s guess matches the response on the game’s readout, pass the unit to the opponents. Just don’t get caught holding this potato when the buzzer sounds (after about a minute of increasingly insistent beating), as the other team will score a point, possession being nine- tenths of the “Awww!” With its infectious mix of fast, nerve-wracking, high- pressure passing the buck, Electronic Catch Phrase spreads a serious case of fun. –Tony Mason
Customer Review: Quickly Becoming Classic
Catch Phrase is easily my favorite party game (and we play a lot of games!). We have been playing this since the analog days and it never gets old; I have never heard anyone say “I don’t want to play it AGAIN!”
