41Y v2xwgbL Learning Resources Alphaball Electronic Word Game Learning Resources Alphaball Electronic Word Game This arcade-style trackball game sends kids racing to unscramble words, make as many words as possible, or even play Hangman. A great way to improve spelling skills and vocabulary, this amusing game features engaging lights, sounds and music. Includes a total of six English or Spanish games. For one or more players. Customer Review: alphaball
Not suitable for children under 9. trackball is slow to respond at times, as is the game itself at times. Game button doesn’t toggle between games unless you depress the trackball first (contrary to instructions). If you can’t slove the word scramble in the time period, you don’t get to see the correct answer. Based on the web description, I expected this to help teach spelling – it doesn’t.

Customer Review: Leapster cartridge — Spider-Man
My son just loves this Leapster cartridge — and it is really helping his spelling skills!
Customer Review: 6 year old boy loves it!
I got this game for my son who just completed kindergarten, and begged for it. I thought it was a bit beyond him, as he just learned to read and write this past school year, but he is rapidly learning to recognize and differentiate correct from incorrect words, and he LOVES it. I guess the lure of Spiderman makes even spelling fun, reading the same story over and over.
