I’m in love with Melissa and Doug products! This is a great beginner puzzle. The pieces are large/chunky enough to fit in your child’s hand like a real tool so they can “fix” things when they aren’t using them as puzzle pieces.

My 2 year old niece has a father who is very handy around the house so getting a puzzle with tools was a great idea. The parents are high on “girl power” so there is a non-sexist attitude about appropriate puzzles for their daughter. Dad is very interactive with his daughter when they do this puzzle together.
