this is a good sturdy product. The product I purchased is not identical to the one shown in the picture and I would suggest that the one pictured is not as good. The critical thing about the product I purchased is that on each row, five of the beads are of one color, five of another color. Furthermore, on the product I purchased rows 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, and 9/10 are identically colored but different from the other row pairs. It turns out that this arrangement greatly aids the child learner and facilitates acquisition of adding skills and identification of quantities. This product, not the one pictured, is remarkable better than ones such as the one in the picture.
