Customer Review: One of the best Toa sets yet!
If you are new to Bionicle and don’t have many sets, you won’t appreciate Iruini as much. It’s still a great toy on it’s own- poseable, fun to build, and just looks cool. But if you have a few other Bionicle sets, Toa especially, you’ll really appreciate this one. While his construction is similar to the Toa Metru, it is a little different. Most notably, the round shield on his chest and his mask. A mask that hasn’t been used before or since, and it’s gold to boot! All of his gold pieces are welcome new additions to my collection. Plus, his unique building techniques (the shield on his chest, making his staff) opened up alot of ideas for me to use on my other Bionicle sets. His Rhotuka-disk launching shield is my favorite part of all. It looks really cool! It’s kind of hard to use it to launch the disks, so I just use it to hold the disks. The slot that holds (not launches) his second disk is particularly interesting looking. Like a vent or sorts. The clumsyness of the launcher doesn’t take much away from the set, as I don’t launch them anyway. Launched disks tend to dissappear, only to end up mangled in the cat’s toy pile.
Customer Review: Do not overlook this wonderful line of toys for your child!
I have resisted buying these because they seemed so cheap…also the usual question we parents always ask ourselves…”What are they going to do with them?”
