Customer Review: At last an Expanded Universe element made the Star Wars Transformers line
As a collector of Star Wars items, when I saw this one in stores I knew I had to try and get it for my collection. Hasbro didn’t even card this one correctly. The card should read “Star Wars 30th Anniversary Saga 2008 Transformers Action Figure ARC Trooper to ARC Gunship” Any Star Wars fan familar with the Cartoon Network “Star Wars: Clone Wars” micro series will instantly recgonize this as the gunship the Muunilinst 10 used to rescue the Jedi on Hypori from Grevious. The mini figure itself is even an ARC Trooper and not a regular clone pilot. It really is a collector’s item for Star Wars fans, if you know what you’ve got.

Customer Review: Here Come the Defenders!
Star Wars mini vehicles allow users to create vast scenes from the movies without spending thousands of dollars. Each new model has at least one special piece so that you won’t be able to duplicate it exactly by using other pieces in your collection.
The Republic Gunship is pretty true to the original (although I don’t know if the rocking wings are accurate). The finished model is a good size for playing with.
The directions are standard Lego format and are easy to follow. The final construction is solid and believable. The set includes extra parts for making part of a Y-Wing (the rest of the parts are available with the AT-At, Millennium Falcon, and the Multi-Troop Transport).
All in all, very nicely done.

Hasbro Star Wars Transformers – Gunship The Republic Gunship is ideal for battering dissembled squads of spindly Battle Droids with wide-swath incendiary rockets. Afterwards, once you take the hill, you break out the steaks and the barbeque pits. Still, in order to truly impress the competition, it?s best to have a Republic Gunship capable of transforming into a robot. In robot mode, the Republic Gunship features the distinctive Clone Trooper helmet design and a reconstitution of the cannons as dual handheld guns. Based in Repulsorlift technology, the Gunship features weapons such as mass-driver canons, anti-matter shower warheads and EMP rockets. There is no escape, if you?re one of the Droid infantry, as you look up suddenly, your optic receptors briefly registering the shape of your imminent doom. But true state of emergency has arrived only when the Gunship expectedly transforms into a gigantic Clone Trooper robot. And while a Clone Trooper Transformer would present little or no challenge to the likes of Megatron or Shockwave, the survival rate of the average Battle Droid would be approximate to that of a pimento loaf sandwich in Jabba?s throne room.
Customer Review: Interesting transformation
This Transformer starts as a Republic Gunship from the Star Wars prequel trilogy before turning into a clone pilot. Note that this Transformer has been released a few times with different paint jobs – the one I own has blue wings and a face painted on the front mirroring the Clone Wars cartoon series.

Star Wars Battle Packs The Hunt for Grievous A few months after the Battle of Geonosis, a Jedi task force is sent to the planet Hypori to destroy a massive droid factory located there. Accompanied by a reinforcement of clone troopers, the Jedi immediately run into serious trouble when orbital mines damage their ships, forcing them to crash land behind enemy lines. The Separatist leader General Grievous and his massive droid army quickly surround the small group of Jedi Knights. The Jedi manage to send a distress call, and the Republic dispatches an elite squad of fully equipped clone troopers, led by Captain Fordo, with orders to rescue the surviving Jedi.

Customer Review: Great Set
I stumbled upon this set at a local Target and was suprised it was re-released. All ARC troopers are great but the heavy gunner and captain are the best of the two. I was disappointed with the lesser three ARC’s articulation and lack thereof. The three ARCs don’t move at the knees and their elbow joints are swivels, which means they can’t hold their guns up very well without looking awkward. Their head joints are also a swivel, not a ball joint. Accessories are good and plentiful and the set looks extra cool with a republic gunship.
Customer Review: Good Addition to the Battle Packs Line
My boys love all things Star Wars, and have watched practically all of the available videos out there including the Cartoon Network “Clone Wars” series, so this item was a “must-have” the moment they saw it had been made. I’m happy that this new version was released, as the original one falls firmly in the very expensive collectibles category! This is a good set of Arc Troopers with the inclusion of a Captain and rotary blaster gunner figure, but I still feel it could have been better: they should have dropped one of the “regular” ARC Troopers and included the Cip-Quad gunner as well.

Next to the Slave I, the Republic Gunship is one of my favorite vehicles in Star Wars. When Attack of the Clones came out I had to choose between the Slave I and the Gunship and being a fan of the Fett’s, I choose the Slave I, man did I ever make a mistake. It seemed that with every other variation of the ship came a harder chance to find one and when I looked on ebay, people were asking ridiculous prices.luckly when I was at wal mart the other day I spotted the toy in one of the isles and was so happy. The ship itself is beautifully crafted and more detailed than I thought it would be. Something that I really liked was the Star Wars version of a WWII pin-up painted on the front of the ship. I haven’t really done much with it yet besides build it but so far it was worth the money, the only problem I’ve had is there are some missles that attach to the doors that don’t go on cuz the machine didn’t cut them right, but its doesn’t matter cuz they don’t really fire anyways haha. Another thing that bugged me were these “grappling” hooks on the back of the ship, they don’t detach and there is nowhere to put them so I think I might cut them off. Overall great toy mine is pretty much gonna be displayed with my 20something clone troop army and V-wing fighter. Oh yeah if your looking for the ship you can find it at wal mart for 50 bucks.
