My son has a R2D2 that talks and he loves it, so I ordered this one for his friend thinking it was the same. Unfortunately you need something to go with it to make it talk, which I could not find on the internet. So I was not happy about that.

The toy itself is durable and just as fun as any Star Wars toy out there. It even has the added feature of the retractable third foot that screws up and down as the toys head revolves. My only complaint is that the “holographic planet” that attaches to his projector tends to fall off after a few minutes. Still, I’m glad that Hasbro puts out Obi-Wan’s droid as well as Anakin’s R2-D2. He fits perfectly in the Obi-Wan Fighter produced by Hasbro, so overall I’m well pleased.

Star Wars Starfighter Vehicle E3 Ve01 Anakin Skywalker Jedi Starfight We doubt it was the mode of transportation made available to Anakin Skywalker by the Jedi knights that made him renounce his friends, take up with the dark side, and become Darth Vader. Because the starfighter given to the conflicted and sullen Anakin was actually pretty cool. Done up in toy version here, it sports wings that open into an x-formation, a pair of spring-loaded missiles, an embedded R2 unit, retractable landing gear, and a canopy. We found the ship to be well built and attractive. Unlike many toys, there are no batteries to buy, insert, or worry about here. It s simply a vehicle for imaginative play, something that the Star Wars series has always provided in ample amounts. –Charlie Williams
Customer Review: Great Buy!!
I bought this for my 4 year old son’s birthday. He is a total star wars fanatic. I was hesitant to buy this because I thought it would break easily because he is so ruff with his toys. That totally wasn’t the case. The toy is very durable. The only thing that seems sort of flimsy is the cockpit door but if it comes off it snaps right back on. This is a great toy for all ages. The toy is well worth what I paid for it!

My 11 year old son loves this toy. It is durable enough to stand up to his constant use and crashes. If you can buy the Anakin Skywalker Saga Legends action figure it fits nicely in the cockpit. My son says that “anyone who likes Star Wars should buy this ship.”

Customer Review: Fun for a Party
I bought these to be part of a Jedi Training Academy for my son’s 5th Birthday party. As soon as I passed them out, the kids only wanted to do the Jedi Training, and none of the other activities I planned (which was fine). They had a lot of fun imagining they were fighting “bad guys” and going through the obstacle course I laid out for them.
