Cute puzzle for a toddler who is learning their numbers. My daughter has really enjoyed this puzzle. She likes the fact that it says the numbers back to her when she puts the piece back in its place.
Customer Review: Good teaching tool but poorly constructed
I wanted a tool to teach him numbers above 9, and with the numbers 10-20 each in one piece, I hope he can learn the concept that 10 is not “one-zero” but “ten.” I already had the Melissa and Doug alphabet puzzle, so I knew what to expect: the numbers are made of paper glued to wood, which are not very durable in the hands of a two-year-old (and never let the numbers get wet!). I didn’t realize that the surface of the puzzle board was also faux-grain paper glued on. This is tacky and cheap and not very durable! THey should leave the wood plain (like on the alphabet puzzle) and paint the numbers on the wood, so they won’t come off.

Customer Review: Our Toddler loves doing this puzzle
Our 2.5 year old really enjoyed doing this puzzle when we first bought it for him – figured out how to do it by himself after a few weeks of daily fun, and in the process he learnt all the continents and major oceans. he plays with it every week or so now (6 months later) and still enjoys doing the puzzle.
Customer Review: Excellent product – even for toddlers!
I bought this puzzle for my daughter (age 2) after seeing how much she learned from and loved the USA Melissa & Doug puzzle. She knows all of her states and now she is familiar with the different continents in the world. She calls this her “Earth Puzzle”. This puzzle has been played with over and over again. Although I would have preferred that the pieces be shaped like each continent, at this stage it’s still great! Highly recommended for ALL AGES.

Very beautiful puzzle. Includes clownfish, sea horses, sharks and dolphins. My 4 year old daughter just loves this puzzle. It kept her happily occupied on long international flights.
Customer Review: Worthwhile
I purchased two sets of these puzzles for my son because he loves the 12 piece transportation M&D puzzle he already has. Putting four puzzles together with a divided area beneath the top of the box is a brilliant idea, but my son doesn’t keep them separate from each other, so the pieces are all mixed together. This causes him to not bother with sorting them. I think it’s a great product, but maybe I’ll put it away until he’s a bit older and less annoyed with “not having all of the pieces”. (As an aside, he’s 3.) As always with M&D products, the quality is terrific. I love their stuff, in general. Also, having the 12 piece transportation puzzle, I thought this 12 piece would be a similar size…it’s not. I didn’t look at the dimensions, but it’s a much smaller puzzle than the other one that my son loves so much. It’s absolutely worth buying, but wasn’t perfect for my son like I thought it would be.

Bought this for my son who is five years old and loves puzzles – especially Thomas the Tank Engine puzzles. I thought 100 pieces may be too much for him but it wasn’t. He loves to figure out how things go together so this was perfect. Great product and would recommend highly.

Customer Review: Very attractive thinking game
My five year old son received this for his birthday. He really liked playing with his older brother’s Rush Hour Safari- mostly he just liked the animals! Well, now he has his own animals AND he can really play the game successfully. The animals slide very easily,the game seems durable, and a game may only require a short period of time to complete. All in all this was a good purchase.

This is a great educational puzzle. Of course, many of the Eastern states are combined. It also says the name of the state regardless if it is correct. But all in all, it’s a clever puzzle and the sound adds the fun.

I have a 7 year old and twin 4 year olds. I bought it for the 7 year old to work on geography over the summer. All three children love puzzles and love that this puzzle talks. They all use it and it will make learning the US states and capital much easier and more fun. Be careful if you leave it in the family room without the pieces because the lights from the room and TV activate the speaker and the puzzles talks to you all evening long. Keep the puzzle pieces in the puzzle or the puzzle in the closet.

These puzzles are very cute. My daughter is 4 and she really enjoys them. They are much smaller than I thought they’d be, but too me thats a good thing because they are easy to store and don’t take up much space.

This is a great set. Each puzzle is made of wood, and has a shape stamped on the back so you know which pieces go together when you have a pile of them. The box it comes in has 4 separate compartments to keep each puzzle in it’s own little area. I love that. Also has a lid which is nice. The puzzles seem very sturdy and the colors are so vibrant. The kids love these, and I look forward to purchasing different sets.

Warning! This puzzle does not fit in standard puzzle racks! Also small children who like to put things in their mouths will make short work of the edges and the pictures will start to wear off. Two years and up.
