LEGO Creator Motion Power

51ClC8eSzCL LEGO Creator Motion Power LEGO Creator Motion Power Lego’s Creator line is a collection of flexible, intricate model sets that come with detailed diagrams to make several different models. This one includes motion power, a Lego motor and battery pack that allows you to animate your models. The first instruction booklet shows how to build a crab robot in 39 steps, a front-wheel drive sports coup in 44 steps, and an insect walker in seven steps. The second booklet shows how to build a motorized helicopter with spinning rotors in 46 steps. The instructions are detailed but complicated, and include several intermediate routines along the way. These are challenging models to build, but rewarding for those just wild about the way gears work. The instructions show alternate model images, but not diagrams, of a working crane and a single-seat prop plane. Both the helicopter and crab models feature two rubber-tipped missile darts. Parents should note that a blunt, rubber, spring-loaded missile shoots about five feet from the completed model. It’s not enough to do anything but pretend damage, but in the wrong hands, it could be used to make a younger sibling cry. Inside the box you’ll find eight bags of bricks, a 2×16 piece, two power cords, four plastic tires, Lego motor block, power pack, and two instruction booklets. Also included is an illustrated block inventory with part numbers, in case you ever need to re-order a replacement block. Six AA-size batteries required for the power pack are not included. –Porter B. Hall
Customer Review: Great option
I purchased this set for my 10 year old son. He spent hours the first day assembling the helicoptor and was able to do it all without help from me. He was very proud of the result and everyone thought the missiles were too cool. He disassembled the coptor after a week or so and then built the next item and the next. This set kept him busy creating for hours with not a peep about playing video games. I love anything that exercises their minds. This is a great toy.
Customer Review: Lego Motion Power Helicopter
This is an excellent product that lives up to all the expectations that you would have from Lego. This was bought for a 7yr old and we had hours of fun building the models and playing with them. the instructions are clear and there are plenty of alternative ideas.

Customer Review: Not brilliant, but she likes it
Perhaps it’s that the rest of us–dad, mom, and fourteen-year-old brother–have had years of playing video games with better complexity and far better graphics, but I’m not wowed by any of the Clickstart games. Yes, I know, they’re for young children, but even the web-based games for toddlers have better graphics and are sometimes more user-friendly.
