Customer Review: Be Careful
Ok so I bought this tonite for my son. I figured I take it out of the package and transform it into Anakin. Yeah, I needed the directions. Which is ok, I expected that. But I’ve spent the last 2 hours looking at them, trying to decide if maybe somehow they put this one together wrong. It doesn’t seem to want to flip where it shows it should. Maybe the directions are wrong? Maybe I’m wrong? Anyway I have done it a couple of times and I can see the plastic starting to stress, so I may have to take it back for a different one.

Customer Review: Cool concept – Flimsy Toy
The Star Wars Transformers line is a great concept for anybody (kid or adult) who loves both worlds. Unfortunately, the actual toys aren’t nearly as durable as they should be. I owned some of the original Transformers from the 80s and early 90s, and they were much sturdier than this. Both of Boba Fett’s arms came off the first time I tried to transform him – I could pop them back on with a little effort, but it’s discouraging that the toy should fall apart so quickly. Another issue is the folding of Slave 1′s engine area, where the final configuration seems to put stress on the plastic in ways that will cause eventual cracking.

Customer Review: Poor build quality
Avoid buying this toy. Though many of the other toys in the transformer line are reasonably sturdy, this one was exceptionally poor. The bond keeping the pilot together immediately broke. The arms and legs don’t stay on very well, and after minimal regular handling, you can see stress fractures in the plastic in the joints. The light saber that the transformed robot was supposed to hold is too small for the robot to actually hold.
Customer Review: Breaks easily
My son was so excited to get this for his birthday. He was devastated when the leg broke off after rather gentle play within about 30min. We contacted Hasbro and they were very good about sending us a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement’s leg broke in the same place after about 5 minutes and my son was being very careful not to break it. It just isn’t a sturdy toy. We also have Anakin, Darth Maul, and Obi Wan and so far, none have broken.

Customer Review: At last an Expanded Universe element made the Star Wars Transformers line
As a collector of Star Wars items, when I saw this one in stores I knew I had to try and get it for my collection. Hasbro didn’t even card this one correctly. The card should read “Star Wars 30th Anniversary Saga 2008 Transformers Action Figure ARC Trooper to ARC Gunship” Any Star Wars fan familar with the Cartoon Network “Star Wars: Clone Wars” micro series will instantly recgonize this as the gunship the Muunilinst 10 used to rescue the Jedi on Hypori from Grevious. The mini figure itself is even an ARC Trooper and not a regular clone pilot. It really is a collector’s item for Star Wars fans, if you know what you’ve got.

just got this new vader transformer…and i have to say im pretty impressed in the look of the sith fighter for darth vader, the details are spot on…even down to the jedi fighters that were shot down stamped on the sides of the cockpit..and the battle ravaged paint job is well done.. this model even includes a vader pilot figure to sit in the cockpit…this fighter looks great displayed on my desk …and the lightsaber missils are a nice touch and they shoot really far also…

Customer Review: Fell apart right away
We bought this for our 7 year old who loves Star Wars and Boba Fett. It was missing a piece when we first opened it. The first time we tried to “transform” it, it broke. We sent it back to the manufactuer, and it was months before we heard back that they weren’t making it anymore so they would send us something different in it’s place. Our son was very disappointed. I’m surprised to see it for sale again after all of that. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you didn’t ever want to play or transform it.
Customer Review: Poorly designed and fragile
This toy arrived broken. The shoulder joints are poorly designed and extremely fragile. One was broken upon arrival (in intact packaging) and the other broke immediately upon attempting to transform from vehicle to figure. Don’t buy it unless you aren’t planning on having a child play with it.

As yet we haven’t given this to our son, its a Christmas present but my husband is pretty excited about it!!! We were delighted to open the box and see the quality and also the size of this toy. It is definitely money well spent!
