Star Wars Starfighter Vehicle V-Wing Fighter The V-wing fighter gives clone troopers a nimble, responsive craft that can keep up with the agile Jedi starfighters and hold its own in a dogfight against droid fighters. The wings open in a “v” shape that enhances maneuverability and speed. Two pairs of cannons put ample firepower at the fingertips of the pilot. V-wing fighters escort Palpatine’s ship during the Emperor’s solemn journey to retrieve Darth Vader, who was critically wounded after his shattering battle with Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar.
Features opening canopy, firing laser cannons, wings spring open for attack mode and adjustable ailerons. Includes vehicle, missiles, labels and instructions. No batteries required. Measures 9″ x 9.5″.
Customer Review: Great Vehicle..
I saw this in passing at Toys ‘R’ Us and I had to buy it. I don’t remember seeing it in the SW movies, so it probably didn’t play any kind of prominent role… but the design of this space ship is just incredible. I’m a big fan of the A-Wing design and this comes very close. Whoever designed this for Lucasarts deserves a medal.
