Customer Review: Good puzzle, but you don’t need four of them
My 2/3 year old likes this puzzle like other good puzzles. But I can’t imagine have 4 of them around. It’s better to have diversity when it comes to puzzles. Have different themes, different brands, different sizes, or they get too bored too quickly.
Customer Review: Puzzle bundle could be more puzzling
These puzzles are colorful and very well made. Unfortunately, I still haven’t unwrapped two of them because the cut out pieces are the same shape as one I’ve already unwrapped. Granted, the pictures are different but I think it would be a little more challenging if the pieces on each puzzle were different. Otherwise it’s a very nice set.

Customer Review: Teaching puzzles at a variety of levels
Our son is just about 1 1/2 and loves puzzles right now. In this bundle, there are 2 that are great for his level. The alphabet, while he’s highly motivated to identify letters, is still a little difficult because there are so many pieces–but it will be great to grow into shortly as he continues to develop. The other two are perfect for his current readiness. Love the wooden puzzles– durable. These are great too because they have the pegs that are perfect for toddler grasping.
Customer Review: Alphabet puzzle
We only have the alphabet puzzle, but my almost 2 year old loves it. She has a lot of patience, and will do th epuzzle 6 or 7 times in one sitting. There are a lot of little pieces that try to get lost, but I think this is a great intro to letters. She has started to say 2 or 3 of the letters because we talk about them as she puts them into the puzzle. I didn’t realize that this would be her favorite of all the puzzles we have.

Customer Review: beautiful puzzles
The Melissa & Doug Mix-n-Match puzzles are beautiful and cute! I didn’t realize only a small section of each animal (only one leg) would be the piece (I thought it was going to be the whole body of each animal), but this is still a great puzzle and my 1-year-old daughter likes to play with it. Eventually she’ll learn to match the animals up with the pieces/colors. I really enjoy the artwork of this series of puzzles.

Customer Review: Wonderful puzzles
I bought these for my good friend’s 2-year-old daughter for Christmas. She really loves puzzles, and these are no exception. The concept is so cute and unlike any other puzzle I’ve seen. Dressing up the girl in different outfits is so much fun – even for the Mommies! Actually, my 2-year-old son went over there to play, and he loved dressing up the girl, too! All three of the puzzles are cute, durable, and fun.

Both my grandsons love to play with this puzzle. The older one helps his little brother turn the pieces the right way so they fit. They spend hours playing with all the Melissa and Doug puzzles I got them on Amazon.com
Customer Review: very cute
2 & 3 yr olds play with this. Easy for both of them. They like to mix up the animals and make funny looking “creatures”. The only thing I was disappointed in was that only the back half of the animal can be removed. The heads are part of the board itself and don’t come out. It would be much more challenging if the whole animal came out of the board. That is the reason I gave it a 3. Other than that – durable and cute.

We bought this combination package of mix-and-match puzzles for our niece, who is just over a year old. As with most Melissa and Doug products, it is sturdy, brightly colored, and easy for young hands to manipulate. And what a reasonable price — these puzzles are $10-15 EACH in our local bookstores.
