Recreating part of the opening scenes of Star Wars Episode XI: Return of the Jedi, the Jabba’s Sail Barge play set lets Star Wars fans young and old lead a daring assault on the cruel Jabba to free Rebel heroes. This set comes with 781 pieces, as well as movie character minifigs of Princess Leia, Han Solo, R2-D2, Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian, Luke Skywalker, and a Gamorrean guard. The instruction booklet diagrams model construction in 48 steps with several intermediate routines along the way.

Construction completes with not only Jaba’s barge, but with a landing skiff and the dreaded Sarlacc pit (sorry, sand not included). The barge features a laser canon, a forward catapult, and drop sides for easy positioning of minifigs. The skiff has a retractable plank where Luke can begin the attack. Inside the box you’ll find 14 parts bags, six bow pieces, two sails, 5 rail pieces, Jabba the Hut figure, and instruction booklet. The Gate Assault set comes with 402 pieces and a full-color, illustrated instruction booklet that diagrams construction of the robot attack tank in 13 steps, robot mech in 15 steps, the human mech in 16 steps, and the gate defenses in 20 steps with several ministeps along the way. The instructions also show images, though not diagrams, of alternate models Swift fighter and Blockade Bulldozer. This set comes with two human pilot minifigs and two Devastator robot pilot minifigs. Humans have spiky, anime-style hair that cover the back of their head and hides the fact that the head parts have two expressions to choose from: angry and berserk. Inside the box you’ll find four gate pieces, four numbered part bags, sheet of 37 decals, and the instruction booklet. Numbered parts bags make it easier to build the set in stages since the numbers correspond to discreet sections of the building diagrams. Also included is an illustrated block inventory with part numbers, in case you ever need to re-order a replacement block. Parents should note that a blunt, rubber, spring-loaded missile shoots about five feet from the completed model. The set is modeled so that, when constructed, it recreates the look and feel of the Order of the Phoenix film. The greenhouse provides a place where Hermione can tend a potted mandrake, which is included. There’s even a fireplace through which Harry could exchange messages with Sirius Black, only there are no owls included. The accessory pieces of the set are loads of fun. It includes orange flames, tiny goblets, trophy ribbons, jewels, magic books, charts and many other interesting pieces.

51NUtHI9ZqL LEGO Star Wars Slave I LEGO Star Wars Slave I Collectors will find this rendition of Boba Fett s ship from Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back to be the best one yet when compared to previous incarnations of Slave I. It s bigger than the original Lego model (7144), which was released in 2000, and its bricks have truer colors. In addition, this version has about 100 more pieces than the 2002 release (7153) and is offered at a lower price point, plus has a much sturdier chassis. Features of this Slave I include a rotating and self-leveling cockpit and foils, a trap door that opens up to drop space mines, a top hatch that opens and launches a large missile, two side cargo compartments that store and drop rockets, and a cargo rack door that opens to fit a stenciled brick of Han Solo frozen in carbonite (a favorite piece among collectors). Other minifigs in this set include Boba Fett, a Bespin guard (with African-American skin tone), and two new figures–bounty hunters, IG-88 and Dengar–who are not found in any other Lego sets. The 537-piece Slave I takes anywhere from three to five hours to build with some help from the illustrated instructions. This is toy is AWESOME!The only problem that I think is that there’s no room for the other minifigs. It took me about 6 hours to build (I am 10). It didnt say what pieces were required so it took longer to figure out from each page what was needed. The only thing that falls apart are the hidden missles. The front does not fall off when I use it, so maybe people are not putting it together right if it keeps falling apart. IG-88 aka Assassin Droid is AWESOME,the warm smile on Dengar is a little disturbing but it is cool to have this many figures. I RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO CAN GET THEIR HANDS ON IT TO BUY IT!!!!!!

First of all, don’t listen to all these nattering naybobs of negativism who say that this set is a piece of crap. This set holds up fine. The reason I rated 5 on educational is because it teaches you problem solving when something breaks. When that happens, you need to problem solve, and fix it. It’s really easy. In fact, this is one of the most durable sets I own. I also love all the hidden stuff, which I won’t tell you about so that the “suprise” isn’t spoiled. The figs are cool too. IG-88 is chrome colored, Boba Fett has a cool rocket backpack, Han Solo in carbonite looks like the real thing, and the Bespin Gaurd has….well….um….an awesome blue hat! So yeah, this is definatly a good set, and very durable if assembled properly, which is probably why the people who hated it hated it. They probably didn’t assemble it right.

Lego is finally introducing this complementary 92-piece model of Batman s dragster and Catwoman s motorcycle, complete with constructible minifigs of the masked hero and his feline foe. The swift-moving dragster has several cool features, including working rear tires, a rotating front axel, a missile launcher on the back, and a cockpit lid that opens and closes. Catwoman s motorcycle is a bit simpler but does have tires that spin well for the vehicle s size and a prop for Catwoman s whip. In addition, both of the minifigs have removable masks and moveable arms and legs. The two vehicles are easy builds that can be accomplished in under an hour. Because the construction is minimal, this model will have more appeal for collectors of either Lego or Batman memorabilia rather than those looking for a challenge. –Cristina Vaamonde
Customer Review: Great Set, Buy!
This is a great toy. Hear me out, a lot of guys say this breaks to easy, but its lego. It wasn’t made to throw against a wall. Just be careful. You get batman minifig. but he doesn’t have batarangs,catwomans whip is lame but her cycle is great, but this flame thing on the back comes off easy. The dragster has this gun in the front and two flick fire rockets. Its cock pit thing will come off if you lean batman too far back so watch that. (P.S. their making a battank with bane and a batcopter with scarecrow and a video game!!)
Customer Review: Not the best one in the Batman set
The best part about this set is now my son has catwoman and her motor bike. The bat dragster is not designed for rough play though, the front wheel is hoaky and keeps the model from getting a higher rating. On the plus side the pieces are quite nice and can be used for better projects but the limited number of pieces requires you to own more legos to really take advantage.

Customer Review: Floatable Lego
This boat measures over a foot long and comes with a separable waterproof motor for use in the pool. It floats well and performs almost like a remote controlled craft on the water; the boat goes pretty fast in the pool. The toy comes equip with 3 fireman minifigs and a small floatable dinghy. A crane lifts the dinghy from the boat onto the water; three rotating water cannons; and a double deck for the pilot, navigator and fireman. The actual bricks may not have the fireman decals that are pictured on the box (my bricks are all plain). The motor comes without a switch; you’ll need to unscrew the motor casing to stop the motor – keep the screw that will lock the motor in the switched-on position at the inverse side so that you can switch the motor on and off. You can attach the City police helicopter (mini pack) to the chassis and build a tower to store the motor on the boat when not in use in the water. This fireman boat is definitely one of the best Lego products ever; what else could you assemble and reassemble and yet play with it in the water.
Customer Review: AWESOME Toy! Really floats!
If you’re looking for the best bath toy EVER made, buy this! Once they put it together, install the motor and battery, it is ready for action in the tub, pool, wherever! It’s got a heavy duty motor and really takes off. We were all surprised at how fast it really goes. And of all the lego sets we have, this one is probably the most detailed. All the little firemen on there are just awesome. The fire hoses swivel to put out all the fires, the chairs do, etc., even the rescue boat lets down from the main ship into the water to rescue folks. Great, great idea, it’s dearly loved in this house, just a great toy. Highly, highly recommend! PS: Ladies, keep your husband away from this one – your son will never see it!

Customer Review: Perfect for my 5 year old!
My 5 year old loves this toy. He needed very little help in building this, which is a reminder that anyone buying legos should know, always pay attention to the recommended age group on the box. Its always right on the money. As for this product, I would recommend buying the additional track package that is available for it. As this is packaged, its fun to build, but only comes with a very simple oval track, which is very short.
