I thought this game was really good, so I ordered for my son. I had seen before in the shop and has also played with him. Well, he does not seem to think it is as cool as me. He is frustrated that the trucks are not off the board. I, on the other hand, as the deal because they do not have to be missing parts. I think it might just a little 'young for this, but I think that will be taken at the end of it, if it is closer to 3 years. I think it's a great idea / activity, particularly forlong car trips!

Customer Review: Don’t buy this!! A little bag of rocks is all you get!
I just received my package and expected to find something similar to the picture. I was very, very disappointed when there was only a small baggie of rocks. That was it! No display box, or identification sheet. I suppose I should have read the fine print. Not worth the money. My son thought he was gettin what was shown in the picture. Very deceiving.

Customer Review: Beary fun
My daughter has this toy and played with it quite a bit when she was 2-3yo. It is very well made and I like the fact that I never see Melissa and Doug toys on the recall list for lead paint or other safety issues.
Customer Review: doesn’t store well if you have a really young one
This is a very cute toy and the different expressions on the bears are great for talking about feelings, as someone else mentioned. Nice portable size. However, being a “portable” toy, the box is just a whiff too small to just throw the pieces in and go — they have to be placed in or shuffled about so as to take up less space to fit the lid on. The lid is the other gripe I have. For some reason I just expected it to be a slider but it’s just placed on, so it isn’t secured at all. We have a fun rubberband for it, but it would have been nice if it were a slider or flip-top lid to make less of a mess as a portable toy.

Customer Review: Cars do no fit the wood track!
I purchased the cars along with the race track, they were offered as a recommendation by Amazon. These cars are too large however, and do not work fit the track. Othewise the toys is of good quality, as all Melissa and Doug toys.
Customer Review: Not Compatible With Ramp Racer
I got my 3yr old son this race car set for his birthday as well as the Melissa & Doug Ramp Racer Set. These cars are too tall to fit down the ramps. On their own they are perfectly fine wooden cars, but I got them specifically for the ramp racer setup.

Customer Review: Wheels fall off quickly…after very little use
This is the first Melissa & Doug product that I have ever been disappointed with but I wouldn’t recommend this product. My son received both the construction & rescue vehicle set for Christmas. He honestly hasn’t played with it all that much and the wheels keep falling off. I’m tired of trying to put them together all the time. I expected more durability from a wooden set of cars.

Customer Review: Disappointment
I bought this toy for my 2 year old son, who like every other 2 year boy old LOVES cars! Amazon was GREAT with the fast shipping! We were very happy until Christmas day when we found that the toy did NOT come with the screws needed to put it together. THE SCREWS WERE NOT IN THE BOX!!!! After the the long and gruesome search for the screws that WERE NOT THERE through all of our Christmas wrapping paper AND seeing my son’s sad face icon sad Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Ramp Racer Game I would like to tell Melissa & Doug YOU RUINED MY SON’S CHRISTMAS!!! When we finally were able to put it together with screws that we bought, the cars that the set came with couldn’t make it down the ramp WITHOUT flipping over!!! THIS TOY WAS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! I have always felt that Melissa & Doug was one of the best toy venders out there, known for their sturdiness and eye catching toys; but after a few disappointing purchases, and this one in general, I will pass when i see Melissa & Doug!
Customer Review: Expensive but we love it
Bought this for my son when he was 2 years old for Christmas. He saw it in a toy store from his stroller when he was 18 mos. old and was instantly in love with it. He still plays with it today (he’s 3 now), and we feel we got alot of use out of it for a $40 race car toy. It is extemely durable like most Melissa and Doug toys are. The colors and the thrill of the races will keep your child busy with this one.

There is another Melissa and Doug train puzzle that some customers were frustrated with because it had a picture of a fox for the letter X. This version has words on each piece in addition to the picture. The “X” piece does have a fox on it, but the fox is having an X-ray taken, and the word on the piece is X-ray.

Customer Review: These condiments really cut the mustard!
My two children, a three year old and a two year old, love these bottles with magnetic lids. As with all Melissa and Doug toys, they are made well and are very durable. My children spend lots of time in their little kitchen matching lids, lining them up and rearranging them. Now if only they would do that to plastic ware drawer!
Customer Review: 22 Month old LOVES IT
Again, Melissa and Doug make a great toy.
My 22 month old recieved it as a gift and I thought she might not think too much of it. I was very wrong, she loves to take the caps off and “snap” them on according to color and pretend to pour or drink from them.
