The Safety of Toys for Children
Toys are indispensable friends of children. Unfortunately, some toys, which are made of low quality materials, are dangerous to the health of children. Therefore, great importance has been attached to the safety of toys intended for children. A recent report published in a German magazine has revealed that 24 toys in all thirty investigated ones contain harmful chemicals like phthalates. It has also indicated that Barbie, as a classical and fashionable toy, contains dangerous chemicals. This report has shocked all parents and aroused the attention of people all over the world.

Customer Review: Cute package – poor execution
This toy will set you back six bucks at your local Target. Even at that, the price is pushing it.
The size of the doll’s carrier is roughly the size that I envision an ostrich egg to be – 4″ long by 2.5″ wide. The doll itself is 2.5″ tall. It’s bulky as a necklace.

Customer Review: My inner child is ecstatic!
“Godzilla vs. Megalon” will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the first Gojira movie I saw in the theater. (And for months after, I subjected my poor parents to a low-quality audiotape recording of the movie, back in the days before home video.) Plus, the idea of having a personal robot was a concept I’d been behind since “Voyage Into Space” (aka “Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot”). Unfortunately and inexplicably, “G vs. M” is not available in an official DVD version as far as I can tell. Until it is, I have my official Jet Jaguar action figure to tide me over.

Customer Review: Grossly overpriced low quality
When I buy several pieces of wood for a hundred bucks I expect it to be of top quality. Unfortunately, not the case here.
Tracks do not fit together tightly creating gaps and bumps that cause trains to tip over. Ascents and descents are too steep for trains with carts to stay on rails. Figures and structures are very primitive with dull prints on the sides. Would not recommend it.
Customer Review: Granddaughters Joy
I bought this for my granddaughter who is 19 months old. She can’t leave it alone. The other toys in the house have lost their allure and the trains occupy the bulk of her play time. They are well made, provide her with motor skills improvement opportunities and she loves them. The down side (yes we’re indulgent) is that it has led to buying other trains, Thomas & Friends DVD’s and books. This is a great starter set and is really all she needs. More track and buildings might be needed when she gets older but she has yet to tire of any of it in the last month and a half. Parents, grandparents, friends, this is a toy that will stand the test of time and worth every penny.

Customer Review: Great puzzle, low quality book
We love this puzzle and we already loved the book (from the library). But we were disappointed by two things. One is that the book is a very flimsy copy. It’s like a comic book and very small. I wish I had just bought the actual book separately. Also, our puzzle came missing one piece. I’ve never had that happen. It’s a piece of Uncle Sam’s body. We can do it without the piece, but it’s diappointing to not have a complete puzzle. Very strange that it came without that one piece. The pieces were in a sealed bag and all, but it wasn’t in there.

The book included in this set is fabulous. The game, by the same title, is even better. They both make the puzzle great fun. All of my children love it. Author Laurie Keller has made geography come alive in our home. Even our one year old knows and recognizes many states!

Customer Review: Not Sturdy…Don’t Bother
I agree with the last reviewer…it is a very low quality product. Not only do the parts fall off easily but the wings on this starfighter don’t pop open as advertised. My husband needed to slam the wings open and asked my 6 year old not to put the wings down or we will have to take them off and play with a defective toy. This happened as he opened the toy Christmas morning. Very disappointing at how cheaply China toys are being made from these companies. This toy won’t last if it comes broken out of the box!
Customer Review: Save your money
As a child my brother and I had several Star Wars toys so, I was thrilled to see there were new toys out for my son. How these toys could be lower quality than the ones from 25 years ago I have no idea but they are! This fighters nose and wings are not attached when you buy it (no big deal) however, with very little effort they fall right off. My son is six and this toy didn’t stand a chance. In addition, it takes a great deal of effort to get the cockpit door to open, it doesn’t open all the way, and it doesn’t stay open on its own so, putting a figure in it is next to impossible. I was very unhappy that with the quality and I seriously wonder if Hasbro had kids try these toys out at all before production. Don’t waste your money. But hey.. it would look really cool on a shelf.
