Customer Review: I was looking forward to using this too.
I had intentions of buying 3 electronic lightsabers. Thats exactly what I did. I bought a count dooku one, an anakin one, and a Luke Skywalker one. At first the Luke one was having problems, but not anymore. The count dooku one functions fine, however, The anakin lightsaber does not function properly. The sound effects do not work. When I turn the lightsaber on, the light comes and the noise when you turn it on comes on. When you go to hit something with the lightsaber, most of the time, no sounds even come out, some of the time, the sounds are so low I can’t even hear it. I recommend getting the Luke Skywalker of the Count Dooku one.

I bought this lightsaber for my son for his birthday last year, and do not regret it one bit.
5 Stars for Durability. This lightsaber is extremely strong. It has shown no sign of breaking, even after a year of constant use. It is probably the most durable lightsaber I’ve bought.
3 Stars for education. Maybe it was a bit of an IQ test to find the place to put the batteries in that thing, but other than that, I doubt the public schools will ever use this product in their lessons.
5 Stars for fun. When you buy a toy, one would expect it to be fun. And the fact that it keeps my kids quiet and occupied for hours speaks for itself. The occasional, “OUCH! He hit my fingers!” does get rather annoying though… But seriously, I even find myself dueling with my kids and their Qui-Gon lightsabers.
Overall this toy is a must-have for any fan of Star Wars. I’d reccomend this one especialy for playtime. It’s Durable. It’s Fun.

Limited edition of 2,000 pieces. Talk about action! This piece fairly exudes it! From concept to collectible, beginning life as a humble production painting, this remarkable statue takes Star Wars conceptual artist Ralph McQuarrie’s work into the third dimension! It’s based on an early concept drawing of Darth Vader fighting Deak Starkiller, a character who would eventually be replaced by Luke Skywalker. As a tribute to the 30th anniversary of Episode IV: A New Hope, McQuarrie’s lightsaber duel between Luke Skywalker and Lord Vader is fully realized in this 3-D vinyl kit. The artisans of Kotobukiya have faithfully reproduced McQuarrie’s every detail, from Vader’s samurai-inspired mask to Luke’s unseen-on-film breathing apparatus. Customer Review: If You’re a Fan of Ralph McQuarrie & Star Wars, this is a must have
Ralph McQuarrie is well known for his early concept art that served as the “model” for the Star Wars universe that so many fans around the world loved. From paper to 3D this set from Kotobukiya is a must have. Although this scene never occurred in Episode IV, the duel between Darth Vader and Luke Starkiller are brought to life in vivid color and in their signature poses as shown in McQuarrie’s artwork. The only thing that would have made this spectacular is if the lightsabers actually lit up and if it was signed by Ralph. The “mechanized” look of Vader’s helmet is very detailed as is Luke’s breathing apparatus. Vader’s helmet was “softened” for the movie and there was no breathing apparatus used by Luke. If you are a true fan, you must have everything McQuarrie, you must have this piece. It is pricey but you won’t be disappointed.

This lightsaber is an extremely fun toy. The blade is nice and bright at night, it is very durable, and it the noises are accurate and only go of when you hit it. Some other knockoff brands don’t work that well, but this one sure does. Te handle is easy to grip and the weight is just right so you can swing fast. My friends and I have had a lot of fun with lightsabers and this is one of the best. I strongly recommend you purchase this item.

WELL MY FAVORITE JEDI WAS MACE WINDU SO I WAITED FOR HIS SABER TO COME OUT TO STORES AND WHEN IT DID I WAS EXCITED. I REALLY COULDNT CARE LESS IF THE HANDLE IS FROM PHANTOM MENACE CAUSE IF YOU LOOK AT HIS REAL HANDLE ITS WAY TO COMPLICATED TO MAKE.
THIS SABER HAS GREAT DURIBILITY COSIDERING THAT I ALWAYS DUEL WHEN I CAN. I HAVE NOTICED THAT THESE ITEMS ARE NOT VERY COMMON IN STORES SO IF YOU REALLY WANT IT THAN GET IT QUICKLY CAUSE THEY GO FAST. IN GENERAL THIS IS ONE OF THE BETTER LIGHTSABERS MADE!
