This bike comes with a rear spring-loaded suspension, handle bar steering, and a gear drive that connects the back wheels to a see-through engine block showing a moving yellow cam and piston. These features, and the step-by-step building of the model, provide a great (and oil-free) introduction to the workings of an internal combustion engine. The Technic Quad Bike set comes with 200 pieces and two full-color, illustrated instruction booklets. The first diagrams quad bike model construction in 41 steps, and the second booklet shows how to build a chopper tricycle in 30 steps. In addition to the instructions, you find inside the box four tires and four bags of bricks, connectors, and trim pieces. I bought this toy for my six year old son, he had trouble building it. My husband helped with the building, but he said the instructions were a little hard to follow. The chain that comes with it doesn’t stay together. The rest of the toy stays together great and my son loves it.

My eight and nine year old sons are big Lego fans. I bought one set for each of my boys and they each built a different model. Both models came out great. The parts fit together beautifully and the finished product moves very well when played with. The vehicles are even better than they look in the pictures on the box. This was the first Technic set that they tried. I hope they enjoy future Technic sets as much.

The LEGO Avatar Fire Nation Ship comes with 722 pieces and a full-color, illustrated instruction booklet that diagrams model construction in 117 steps. Construction is divided into two parts and the bags are numbered with either a “1″ or “2″ to help keep things straight. The first phase of construction focuses on building the ship’s hull, and the second phase builds the top decks, control tower, and other components. The ship tower is built on a hinge, so it opens up to become a play set. Lots of fun detail is built into the model, including a brig, an engine room, and a hold with supply barrels. Cool features include the ship’s curved bow, a block-throwing catapult, and a hinged stern that opens to deploy a speed boat for extra defense. Inside the box you’ll find 12 bags of parts, a plastic Fire Nation flag, and an instruction manual. Customer Review: Great toy, but directions are too dark
My son and I are half way finished putting it together. Great to play with already. My only issue, as i mentioned at the Lego site, is that the pictures in the directions are pretty dark, particularly with lots of small grey and black pieces. That made it somewhat difficult to assemble.
Customer Review: Wonderful set for Avatar/lego fans…
Great instructions (lego really is top-notch on their assembly directions), cool characters (you get Aang, Katara, Zuko, and a fire soldier and a fire bender), and a ship that is much cooler than it looks on the box. Things my son liked about the ship were the catapult, the jail, the mini-ship that can be launched out of the bottom of the fire nation ship, and the engine room below the floor of the ship.

Customer Review: Great army builder!
Four Clonetroopers in one small set? You can’t go wrong with that. One of the previous reviewers said she was dissappointed with the size of this set. That’s understandable, but Lego fans know that the minifigures can be hard to come by. This really is a great set if you want to swell your ranks of Clonetroopers. The litte speeder thingy is fun, too. I want two more of these!

I haven’t owned a decent Lego set in years. But with the growing popularity of the Bionicle line, I decided to pick this one up (for some reason, I’ve always liked the green ones). Speaking of which, for reasons that are beyond me, this Visorak (along with the Suukorak) is priced slightly higher than the others, even when they’re on sale. Still, a bargin’s a bargin, right?

As with all legos, they are fragile when asssembled and can be complicated during assembly. There more for the joy of building and looking at afterward. Imagination required for full enjoyment! Star Wars sets are the best.

Nice to see something different from lego – I am sure lego fans have also got tired of yellow blocks to make diggers/earth moving equipment and the like, or grey stuff to make space stuff… so to find something cool like a snowmobile is great!
