Customer Review: Cute package – poor execution
This toy will set you back six bucks at your local Target. Even at that, the price is pushing it.

The size of the doll’s carrier is roughly the size that I envision an ostrich egg to be – 4″ long by 2.5″ wide. The doll itself is 2.5″ tall. It’s bulky as a necklace.

Wonderful bedroom set. I love it. It has a cute blanket and pillow and the mattress is plastic. The blue lamp (if that’s what you want to call it) is removable. It also comes with two soda cans and a blue and green glass. The doll has a medium size head (considering dolls these days) and her make-up is light (meaning her face is not caked with it). The bed is about 13″ long, 4″ wide, and 2″ thick and very light. I don’t know how a bed can be educational so I gave it four stars. It’s durablity is good but the lamp pulls ever so slighty on the canopy (the four stars), but virtually unnoticable. I am 13 and love it. My friend and I play High School Musical, and this is Gabriella’s bed!

Some people won’t agree, but I think these first edition mini-Barbies are just so much prettier than the new ones. Sure, the new ones come with a wardrobe of clothes – which is nice – but they also have huge heads and horsey faces. These ones also came with furniture and fun party sets, and a few (like this one) had animal friends from the movies. The only problem with them is that their knees don’t bend, and some people might think permanent shoes are also a drawback – I don’t. These are great dolls for small spaces or on-the-go Barbie fun.

Customer Review: YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE CRAZY TO PAY THIS PRICE!
Whoever is selling this playset is PRICE GOUGING! Do NOT pay this kind of price. Its not even worth $100 which is what I paid for it at ToysRUs. And by the way, mine came with the doll and the pet. Its totally flimsy, quite small, and not enough accesories. I was totally disappointed with it and my daughter who is 6 is not really very thrilled with it either. She loves the carriage and the glitter pony you can buy seperately though. Buy those but skip the castle!!!

Customer Review: Pleasantly suprised
I bough this because my daughter picked it out while we were shopping (she had been a good girl that day). I wasn’t expecting much simply because I find its best not to have high expectations of toys these days. We got it home and we saved it for bath time. It was great! The chair acts as a fountain which my daughter loved. She is also very fond of the little mermaid doll. She plays with it every bath time after owning it for over two months! Great toy! Very pleased. It is well made and the original batteries we put in are still working.

If a little girl is into Barbie, this doll has it all… cute clothes and hair, hair, hair! In addition to having fabulous hair to begin with, she comes with a clip-on hair piece! Sure, most little girls will probably lose the accessories within five minutes of opening the box, but who cares – that’s all part of the fun! This doll hearkens back to the days when Barbie was just plain fun, not a collectible or a princess or other such silliness. This is old-school Barbie, plain and simple, and I love it.
