Customer Review: imaginitive fun w/ ken doll
most people are familiar w/ product and probably don’t need review. it’s a ken doll…imaginitive play abounds. although, i may be krimping my daughter’s style as previously she was using a hand-me-down barbie w/ chopped off hair and no clothes for her male substitute since she didn’t own a ken doll…where there’s a will….
Customer Review: “Featured” guitar is a joke!
I purchased this doll online as a Christmas present for my daughter. She doesn’t really care about the story, but wanted to have a prince for her princesses. However, her favorite quality of this particular prince is his guitar. I figured that it was a great choice, especially since the description states that the doll, “features Ian’s gem guitar.” So I was expecting something more than very thin cardboard, attached to the packaging, with no real way for it to be held or played with by the doll. Now I’m not sure if I should still give it to her and risk possible tears on Christmas morning when she discovers the guitar was basically a scam, or try to talk her into choosing a different prince to accompany her princesses and return this one. I’m very disappointed that I should even have to be making this choice. Shame on Mattel for marketing it in this manner when it would have cost so little to have done it right!
