Me and my best friend are really close i met him in high school and we hit it off well. he moved away for college and when he came back that first summer we got really close. In high school we had a thing for eachother but nothing ever developed because we never knew that we liked eachother. Then i got married and he was in college. we kept contact and continued to be inseperable when he did visit. Now me and my husband are seperated and im living with him but there is no physical contact. were simply best friends rommates. the second i told him i left my husband he told me that we should get an apartment together and i agreed. so im living here with him now. i will have my own room and my own bathroom once we find a place. but i cant tell if he is just being a best friend or sending me signals that he likes me. he always talks about his personal areas (genital) involved with me lol. and i just shrug it off like he is kidding. one night i was getting ready for bed and i assumed he was leaving the room i just wanted to know if he was leaving the room so i could close the door. He looked at me and said what leave you with a puzzled look on his face and said no i would never leave you. or when i made jokes about staying in a hotel until i could get my own place he would make the statement “your leaving me to live in a hotel?” lol he smacks me on my butt. coments a lot on my body positivly. he says he likes my style. but to other people were just friends. we share a room right now. He knows just about every aspect of my life and how i am as a person. He talks about me in future tense and we joke about how he is going to tell my grandkids embarrasing stories about me. i cant tell if he likes me or not. he constantly asks for sexual favors and i laugh it off but when i do surprise him with a flirt to his advances he quickly retracks and picks on me for doing it. He constantly picks on me for everything. He likes to see what im up to like if im talking to other guys or not. i made a friend and he didnt like him. they never met but he didnt care to meet my new guy friend. He tells me that i shouldnt settle for anyone and he constantly lifts me up and encourages me to do good in all aspects of my life and tells me he is proud of me for my accomplishments. is he just a really good friend or is there more to it? he also tells me that he doesnt want me to start dating anyone he wants me to stay single like him. he plays with my hair a lot too.
