Customer Review: THIS IS A FIVE STAR ACTION FIGURE – EDUCATIONAL AS WELL
The main reason I am giving THE SUPER FIST SMASH IRON MONGER Action Figure a five star rating is out of all the Iron Man 7″ Toys that Hasbro manufactured in movie merchandise is the fact my son absolutely loves it. Iron Monger is made very well. Kids can be pretty tough on their toys; however, when a figure stands the test of playing with on a daily basis and doesn’t break it is well worth the price.

Customer Review: a great addition to the mark III Iron Man
I just pick this up today @ Toys “R” Us for $10.27 and what a fair price. Mostly anything that is coming out this summer based on film, be it a video game or a toyline, deserves close scrutiny. This is a great figure for the price, and that’s all. He is very well sculpted and has good articulation. Unlike the wave 1 Iron Monger, his legs have a ball-joint to allow complete poseability. Also, the gimmic is pretty cool too. After snapping together the cockpit armor on the figure (2 pieces), it can then be removed in the way very much like in the film. The upper torso folds up and back with the chest then folding down. The chest piece has a white sticker on it rather than a blue or red plastic circle. Obedia Stane’s head has a fairley good likeness with his beard having grain to it, but not as great as Robert Downie Jr.’s face on the Iron Man Proto Type (PT) figure. About the sculpt; it is the same mold as the series one Iron Monger but with a more metallic color and look to it. They also used a black wash to bring out the details in the suit. All of which are points that I like. However, with all of these extras, can make the figure vary in appearance and might look overdone. These can easily bee found at other stores for way less. Besides, you might want to check them out in the store anyway to get the one you really want. Otherwise, go with Amazon. You can’t really go wrong.

Iron Man Movie Toy Series 1 Action Figure Iron Man Prototype Iron Man Prototype appears to boast an array of articulation similar to that of a Marvel Legends figure, and is accompanied by a pair of interchangeable non-armored hands, snap-on armor, and a removable helmet. The red and gold Prototype armor is much sleeker than the Mark I armor, the latter of which was a rough draft with a life-saving pacemaker that enabled Tony Stark to persevere against grave injury and capture in Afghanistan. The armor provides Tony Stark with vastly augmented strength, near-invulnerability, and an arsenal of advanced weaponry including missiles and repulsor blasts.

I like this toy except that Robert Downey Jr hair is not like that. The other thing is that the armour on his shoulders are very loose.its got reeally good articulation.the iron monger with an opening cockpit fits with this to play with.I have that one as well.

Overall nice looking deep red and gold figure.
As an action figure it is at a good level of articulations that allow several poses: neck, ball jointed shoulders and hips, double articulation at elbows and knees, and articulation at ankles too, swivel forearms and hips.
