A great puzzle for all ages. The pictures are big, colorful, and the words are large and having one letter per piece helps to show the kids how to start building words.
Customer Review: HE’S LEARNING TO SPELL!
I recently purchased this puzzle for my toddler son. When I received it, I was disappointed with the small pieces and was going to send it back. I did, however, keep it because I thought the educational value may prove more important than the size of the puzzle.

Boy, was I right on that! My son truly enjoys putting together these mini-puzzles and on his own. He’s only two, but loves his letters and shows interest in words. He’s actually learning to spell! And I love the fact that the puzzle is self-correcting; he knows a word is spelt correctly if the puzzle is complete.

Customer Review: great puzzle
This is a great puzzle. We had 8 year olds and 72 year olds working on it together. With 500 pieces, it’s difficult enough to be challenging, but the pieces are not too tiny for the older generation to see. I thought the puzzle pieces were the perfect size.

The 3-D Transformer Puzzle was perfect for my Transformer-loving son. He got it for his 8th birthday. He put it together in about 25 min. This problem-solving puzzle was fun! It is durable and interesting to look at. Of course, we hung it in his room because it glows in the dark! ( It has a hanger piece on the back)

My daughter loves this puzzle! I would say if your kid is smart, he or she will be able to piece it together without help before they are 2 1/2 yrs old. I love it because it occupies her for about 15 minutes while I make dinner or do something else. The box has a diagram of the the train, so the kid can look at it to figure out what comes next. No matter how smart your kid is though, the puzzle is not pee-proof. I have to buy another one since the “accident”. Highly recommended for puzzle-loving kids.

I have an older version of this. It is a great puzzle and learning tool. My 5 year old loves it, but the smaller states don’t have names on the pieces because the pieces are so small the names won’t fit. They should fit on the board itself.

The girl I gave this to loves this gift. Not only does she know the name of the states and their capitals….she is also learning where each state is located. When she hears the news she knows where it is.
