I purchased this for my 3-year old daughter who’s really into Spiderman right now. When it arrived, I was thoroughly surprised with regard to how many joints are movable on this action figure. You can pose Spidey in just about any position imaginable. Head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, legs, fingers, feet, ankles…all movable. Each individual finger (except the thumbs) and the toes (as a single unit) are even movable. I often find Spidey laying around the house in undignified poses, looking more like the star of a Broadway musical rather than a crime fighting action hero, so I take the time to reposition him and man him up a little.

Customer Review: Great lego set at a good price!
My 5 year old is a lego nut, he has been building them for 2 years now and this is one of his favorites. We usually buy lego age ranges of 7-12 for him. He put together the Racer X car in one evening and plays with it everyday now – it’s very durable. It took him two days to put together the Cruncher Block truck and he needed help on a few tricky parts – this one it not as good for play afterwards – a few little parts (like side mirrors) that fall off if handled too much. Overall this was a good set at a good price.

Customer Review: Enjoy it while it lasts…until it breaks
My son received this Christmas 2007. It has gotten use on and off, mostly off. So, it has not been heavily used. Just recently (Oct. 2008) the car wouldn’t turn on anymore. Replaced the batteries but that did not solve the problem. I wound up taking the housing off the car and discovered there is a small plastic stem that goes from the on/off switch on the car into some kind of electric transistor gizmo. The stem itself had broken off, and I found it inside of the car when I opened it. It really isn’t repairable, unless I could find a whole new switch piece (fat chance on finding that). At this price level, I think something like this should last longer than it did, considering it only got light-to-moderate usage. It was a pretty fun toy, but durability wasn’t up to par.
