E.A. Poe was a gift from my girlfriend. Sadly, a day after I got him, he was perched on my Completed Works of Poe, situated on my desk, when he fell a few feet, the raven breaking from his shoulder. With a little super glue he was right as rain. I wouldn’t play with him roughly, but he’s fine if you want to have a tea party with Faulkner and Hemmingway. Seriously, how can you deny the sheer awesome that is this action figure?
Customer Review: How Cool is This!
An Edgar Allan Poe ACTION FIGURE! This is ultra cool. Listed on the back is “Weapon of Choice: Morbid Rumination”, along with interesting facts about Poe. That fact someone made this is interesting; my 23-year-old son bought it for me as a Father’s Day gift. Unlike Clint The Cool Guy (who actually sounds quite cool) I haven’t taken mine out of the package yet. Cool to have, cool to display, cool to play with, and apparently goes well with GI Joes.

Forget Transformers and Power Rangers! Here’s the ultimate Cosmic Dude, with big brain, big hair, and big ideas! LOL I love the whole concept of an “academic action figure,” especially in a world full or super heroes and crazy characters. I especially like the biography and quotes on the packaging of this figure. Sample info: “The name ‘Einstein’ has become synonymous with the word ‘Genius.’”

Customer Review: Mutt…a new character
My 5 yr old loves this new character and loves the way his arms move to give the sword action… better than the old days when the GI Joes and Barbies arms and legs were only stiff. Indiana Jones is a great role model for the new generation of boys coming up now… yes, there are some scary parts but, we just don’t watch them. I love the references to the Bible, the lessons in history, no cussing and sex scenes. A true great American hero and role model. This action figure a must have to be the partner to Indy!!

Customer Review: When is someone going to make a durable action figure?!!!
This was a Christmas gift for my six year old son. Today, the day after Christmas Indy’s foot has broken off. As with all action figure I get for him, they are not durable. I’m in my 40′s, we used to play with GI Joes in my neighborhood. We would drop them from trees,roll them down hills,and things like that. They endured it all. You could pull his head off or his leg off. They were made with a ball and socket, and you could stick them back in. Now, all these action figures joints are made with hard plastic and the movable limbs simply break off if they are played with. Is this made to be played with or is supposed to be on display as a collectors item? I love the whip action and sound effects but if it’s going to be played with, think twice. The price is a bit high for something that is going to break. My kid was simply having the figure
run across the table when the foot broke off. Give me the old GI Joes any day!!!!
