Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway – Roundhouse After longs days of travel and adventure, Thomas the Tank Engine and friends need a place to rest. The Roundhouse is built in exactly the same way as it was when part of the British Railway, solidly constructed in wood and decorated with brick decals. Five trains fit inside the wooden train shelter, and the green plastic doors open and close. It connects to any of the Clickity-Clack Tracks from the Thomas Wooden Railway System with a five-way switch track. There are almost as many pieces to this line of train sets (sold separately) as there are books in the Thomas the Tank Engine series–all contained in carrying cases. Customer Review: Great price..and my 3 yr old loves it!
This was the best price I could find for this item after a lot of research on the web and in stores. Thomas merchandise is quite pricey so I took advantage of the few dollars I could save by purchasing it on Amazon. This is a great addition to the train table and my son loves it. If you have limited space on your table because of all the other Thomas track add on’s like the covered bridge, suspension bridges, water tower etc…you may want to also purchase the switch track so you can attach multiple tracks to the roundhouse without taking up much space on your table. The roundhouse comes with a 5-way track but you can only attach that to one single piece of track. The roundhouse is extremely sturdy and I would expect it to last a good long time.

I give 5 stars to the Roundhouse as a product (my niece would think 5 is not enough stars), but the description on the website did not mention that the Roundhouse included the Turntable. Knowing this would have saved me the effort of purchasing & then returning the Turntable.
