If you have a little person who loves bugs and puzzles, this is the one! Sturdy, large pieces. Our four year old enjoys puzzles and this is challenging enough that she needs a little help for now. The puzzle comes with a map identifying each of the bugs and giving some information.
Customer Review: A Very Big Puzzle
My Grandson, William, loves puzzles. He especially loves these floor puzzles. I never knew they existed until he wanted these for Christmas.
I will tell you that they are very heavy puzzles. We get on the floor and put them together and they are really large. This one is of bugs. He has learned what the different kind of bugs are, they have a chart inclosed. He has already started looking outside for these bugs.
These puzzles are well made and will last his childhood probably. They are well worth buying for your child.

This puzzle is thin and cheaply constructed. The edges tear and lift very easily. We bought our puzzle at a Dollar Store; I won’t disclose the price we paid,

My mage 3 years with this game and its now a favorite of her. We have some of the great Melissa and Doug floor puzzles that you like, but this is by far her favorite! It may seem intimidating, and you might think, to three years … Yeah, right lady! The first time I had to help her and now great pleasure in doing for themselves. Skills are currently developing their opinion!

Customer Review: Excellent first jigsaw puzzle for a girl
We bought this 24 piece puzzle for my daughter right around her third birthday. This is a great choice for a jigsaw puzzle novice. The pieces are huge, thick and sturdy – the quality is comparable to the similar Melissa and Doug puzzles. The puzzle is well cut, so they fit together extremely well but do not separate when our daughter sits on it as she’s putting the puzzle together. The illustration is beautiful and will capture the attention of any princess, castle, or horse/unicorn fan. At first it was challenging for our daughter. Since the pieces are all very different from each other it was easy for our daughter to learn to identify which peices went to each portion of the illustration. Now, she can put it together very quickly. She loves to assemble it over and over again. This is a great choice for a young pre-schooler who is just learning about jigsaw puzzles.

What a wonderful set of puzzles. It is a fantastic set with four puzzles, ranging in level from easy to challenging. My two year old enthusiastically puts together the easier puzzles. She actually sits for extended amount of time working on it independently and repeatedly. My daughter gets great pleasure in seeing the end result. I would have never thought she could be capable of this yet, but this set showed me not to underestimate children. She truly loves the challenge! I would recommend this item for children whom love putting things together.

I bought the Sea Animals and the Horses “floor puzzles” to give as gifts and they were instant successes. These days, kids no longer get this kind of toys, so they are always curious about them.
