Abraham Clark was in Elizabethtown, New Jersey, born in 1726. While still young, his father hired a tutor to teach him relief. While working as a surveyor, he taught law and went into practice. It ‘was a director of a “poor man he knows who could not afford to offer a defense attorney. He married Sarah Hatfield in 1748 and together they had 10 children. During this period he entered politics as an employee of the Parliament of state and then the sheriff of Essex County High, and was elected to the Provincial Congress in 1775. In 1776 Clark was appointed as a delegate to the Continental Congress. They arrived in Philadelphia 28 June 1776 and signed the Declaration of Independence in July . He Continental Congress for 1778 and 1780-1783 and then from 1786 to 1788 died in 1794 from sunstroke.
Susan B. Anthony was born (1820) and raised in West Grove, near Adams, Massachusetts. It was an important leader of the civil rights movement, an important role in the 19 Century, played women’s rights movement to introduce women’s suffrage in the United States, has traveled the United States and Europe every year and gave 75 – 100 speeches on women’s rights in 45 years. Anthony also has a major role in the anti-slavery movement in New York. At the age of 29 years was secretary for Daughters of Temperance. In 1850, two people, in particular, inspired all his energies to women’s rights are one of the causes, Horace Greeley, Lucy Stone and. Then in 1851 met Elizabeth Cady Stanton in Seneca Falls, New York. They became fast friends and crossed the country giving speeches together and tried to convince the government that women and men should be treated equally. She and Frederick Douglass were good friends, but their thick heads on the issue of equal rights – he did not believe in granting suffrage for men blacks, but women. It ‘been arrested for illegally voting in 1872 presidential elections. He never paid the fine. Anthony and Stanton founded the National Women’s Suffrage Association (1869). Anthony was vice president in its entirety until 1892, when he became president. Susan B. Anthony died of heart disease in 1906. Had 86
Elihu Root was Clinton, New York, born in 1845. He was a lawyer, politician and 1912 recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. It ‘was the “prototype of the twentieth century” wise man “to be transported high-level authorities in Washington, DC, and private law firm in New York City.” (Wikipedia) was at Hamilton College in New York University School of Law and educated. His wife was Clara Wales, and had three children, Edith (Mrs. U.S. Grant), Elihu, Jr. (attorney) and Edward Welsh (Chairman Art Hamilton College). His political career, U. S. Secretary of War (1899-1904) William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt. His achievements in this period, the reform of the armed forces of the United States, West Point expansion and the creation of the S. U. Army War College and the General Staff. In 1905 President Roosevelt appointed him secretary of state. In 1909 he was elected senator U. S. New York and served till 1915. For his work in bringing together nations and arbitration cooperation Root received the Nobel Peace Prize. († 1937-year 91)
John Sidney Blyth Barrymore was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1882. It ‘was an American actor of the years 1903-1941. First, is known as a stage actor in light comedy, high drama and then finally, in pioneering images in plays like Hamlet and Richard III. Today, John Barrymore is best known for her roles in films like Don Juan (1926), Grand Hotel (1932), Dinner at Eight notes (1933) and Novecento (1934). He was a member of a “multi-generation theatrical dynasty – was the brother of Lionel and Ethel Barrymore and grandfather of Drew Barrymore. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. († 1942, Los Angeles, California)
Julio Cesar Romero was born in New York in 1907, JR. A Cuban-American film and television star, was the Joker in the Batman TV series. If Batman was filmed in 1966, was the first to play the Joker in a movie. In 1929 his parents their business of importing sugar lost in the stock market crash and his acting skills was able to support his large family. In 1942 he joined the U. S. Coast Guard and served in the Pacific during World War II. He was aboard the USS Cavalier and saw action at Saipan and Tinian. From 1930 to 1950, he played “Latin Lovers” was the Cisco Kid series of six Westerns 1939-1941. Romero was the dance and comedy in films like “Weekend in Havana and in the spring in the Rockies in 1940. He was a villain in The Thin Man in 1934 and stared working with Tyrone Power in 1947 Technicolor epic, Captain of Castile. Some interesting roles were played on television than ever Uncle Zorro is Don Diego in a few episodes, and as head of the thrush in France in The Man from UNCLE Romero married and was known around the Hollywood set, which is a confirmed bachelor. († 1994)
Allan Arbus was born in New York City in 1918. He is an actor known for his role as Dr. Sidney Freedman on the television series M * A * S * H *. During the 40 years he worked as a photographer for the St. U. Army and later a photographic advertising business with his wife. He and his wife Amy Arbus was one of his paintings in the exhibition of photographs by Edward Steichen, The Family of Man, Allan and Amy were divorced in 1969 and he later married Mariclare Costello. He had a leading role in building Robert Downey Schmierer movie (1972) and looked in front of Bette Davis in Scream, Pretty Peggy (1973). It was also in W. C. Fields and Me (1976). This led to his role in M * A * S * H * series.
