Product Description

A force of battle droids is advancing on Theed Palace in a Gian Speeder with retractable landing gear, liftable canopy, four seats, and two shooting missiles. Theed Palace (represented by a staircase and exterior wall, 4 inches high) is defended by Captain Panaka, one of four action figures (1 inch tall) in the set. Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway – Lifting Bridge Much more fun than the plain crossover bridge of the simplest Thomas sets, this lifting bridge has solid “brick” pilings, green plastic “steel beam” bridge railings, and a simple winding mechanism (driven by a hidden string pulley) for raising the bridge deck. Since a section of rail line goes underneath, this can’t be for allowing the passage of tall-masted yachts, but it would be ideal if, say, Percy were towing a freight car containing an upended dog biscuit. I have to say that this is one of those products that if you needed two, even though it’s expensive, I’d spend the money again. After having purchased this item, I have bought my son 5 more buildings from the Thomas Wooden Railway System.

Customer Review: Very nice set at a reasonable price!
I was a bit wary about ordering a generic brand of Lincoln Logs but this set was good quality. I found the “real” Lincoln Logs have a little bit smoother of a groove in the pieces, but these are still good quality and if I need more (which I don’t after buying a set of Lincoln Logs and this set) I would buy these again. The value can’t be beat and the kids have a lot of fun with them.

Buffalo Games 3D Spherical Puzzle – Antique Globe No ordinary jigsaw, this puzzle assembles into a 9.5-inch globe with a surface image created from old mariner’s charts. To enable freestanding rigidity, the extra-thick cardboard pieces are designed to fit together a mite more snugly than typical puzzle pieces. Customer Review: More annoying than fun
Having completed other spherical jigsaws, I was greatly looking forward to this one. However, upon first opening the package, I noticed that all the pieces were flat, meaning they won’t fit together exactly. Annoying, but acceptable to me, at least. However, after I put together the first row using the numbers on the back of the pieces, I turned it over to find that the images printed on the pieces didn’t even align with other pieces. A map where the edges of the continents don’t align, and the print can’t be deciphered? This puzzle can only be completed by the numbers printed on the back, and the completed product leaves room for improvement.

Customer Review: Charades for kids
My kids love this game. There are two types of cards. One card has pictures on it for non-readers and the other is just regular written word cards. The one point I would change is that only about a third of the cards are picture cards and once you’ve gone through them the kids remember them and they become easy to guess. Other than that this is a very fun family game.

RC Power Sweeper
This is one of Rokenbok’s cooler wireless-controlled trucks. Equipped with a foam roller up front, it can suck up Rokenbok balls, depositing them in its rear compartment for later dumping. (Powered control requires a command deck and one control pad, sold separately.) The Power Sweeper includes a driver and 20 balls. The Rokenbok construction system, of which this set is a part, incorporates a vast array of snap-together construction modules, as well as radio-controlled vehicles and other snazzy motorized widgets. With a central control module, it’s possible to remotely command up to eight different machines using either one or multiple handsets. Cleverly designed radio controls steer and move a very responsive vehicle and are quickly interchangeable between vehicles. Detailed building plans are included, though they are not as easy to follow as you might hope. The constructed sets are probably too fragile for use around younger siblings but are endlessly expandable. –Richard Farr

My kids use this vehicle to clean up the last of the balls that they can’t grab with the other loaders. This one doesn’t take as much driving skill since it sucks the balls up. Lots of fun.

This toy has been a BIG hit with my two grandsons, ages 8 and 6! It has given them endless hours of entertainment. I was afraid that it was too ‘young’ for the 8-year old, but not so! Great investment!
