Customer Review: Great item for any Neon Gen fan!
First off, this is not your typical kid’s toy. Any physical playing with this item will surely result in it breaking. This item is intended more for display purposes.
Having been a fan of the original Anime “Neon Genesis” series for a very long time, I was fascinated to see these figures available for sale. Although smaller than I expected, the item is well detailed and highly poseable. If you can imagine a pose, you can pretty much duplicate it. It also comes with different hands, for different poses, as well as other accessories such as the rifle and shield.
Now for the bad news. The only problem I had with the figure relates to the interchangeable hands. Removing the hands from the arms isn’t too difficult (although accidentally removing the arm from its socket is likely). The problems I encountered had to do with attaching the alternate hands. The peg holes on the alternate hands were too small for the wrist pegs! I had to take a knife and scrape the holes to make them large enough so the pegs would fit. I have to say, this was a bit of a drag.
Overall, if you are a long-time fan of the series, and if you like to clutter your house with collectables and memorabilia, there is little reason not to own this. Its priced lower than the other figures
Customer Review: A must have for Evangelion fans
The new series of Eva units from Revoltech is simply awesome. Found EVA00 and EVA02 in my country and Im going to grab the rest of EVA units whenever possible. Amazon price is great. The detail and the hundred possible poses is fantastic. Once you get one, the rest will be soon in your collection. The 2007 series of EVA units looks really promising and 2 of them will be available in april and another unit on may-june. Stay tuned for the new line of EVA units.
