Customer Review: Historically Inaccurate Barbie
My Russian wife told me point blank she didn’t like the doll. I surmised that this was because the attire was not historically accurate for an imperial princess, or so she informed me — at length. I knew in advance my wife wouldn’t like the doll, as she tends to be very, very fussy, like a Russian princess herself. I suppose that’s why I bought it for her. Of course, she appreciated the sentiment. I’m surprised Mattel got the outfit wrong, but how would I know?

I got this doll because one of my other barbie dolls, who wasn’t a doll of the world got chewed up by our dog. it was my first doll of the world and it is worth a million bucks. great for kids like me. this doll is for everyone.
