Adventures with Dora the Explorer Electronic Learning Toy Adventure Quest is an electronic toy designed to create a play pattern that closely replicates the adventures of the Dora The Explorer show. The toy uses recognizable character and landmark icons from the show to teach object identification, sequencing and bilingual language skills. The toy includes 3 modes of play – identify, find and adventure mode. Each mode is played out by using the three printed tumblers located on the toy. Each of the tumblers is printed with 5 separate icons/landmarks. The 3 tumblers act as the three landmarks encountered on each of Doras adventures. These tumblers are printed with 5 landmarks each. At the appropriate times these tumblers are rotated to expose, thus selecting, one of the printed icons on each.
Customer Review: Entertaining
This toy is fine if your child is a Dora fan. My kids don’t play with it very much, but when they do they spend about 5 minutes with it, enough to learn a spanish word or too. The reviewer that said their band button doesn’t work – yes I think it’s just decorative because our button doesn’t work either. It would be better if it was designed to not look like the other functional buttons.
