The dolls are awesome. My graddaughter loves them but the pocket on the front of the plastic carrying case was busted when it arrived and the feathers on the top of the carrying case are unnecessary. They just come off everywhere. The dolls and the clothes are great but the case needs some work.

This is a really fun toy for little girls. So much better than the traditional paper dolls. The magnet clothes fit right on the dolls. I love how the dolls are little girls instead of the busty unrealistic dolls that are so common right now. Plus, the purse carrying case holds all the pieces so well. Customer Review: Terrible Disappointment — parts don’t fit
My son (almost icon cool Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Mighty Builders Fire Truck and my husband (an engineer) sat down to put this together. Many of the holes were either drilled too small or, even worse, drilled in the WRONG PLACE. Some pieces are cut the wrong size and just don’t fit!! What a terrible WASTE OF MONEY. There is no way to make it work without major drilling and sanding and then re-painting.

This whistle worked perfectly for my son’s party favor bags at his Thomas-themed birthday. The whistles are nice-sized, individually wrapped, and durable. Perfect for a bunch of preschoolers! I let him open and play with one and he loves to “toot” it around the house. Plus, Thomas is on it, so he really loves it! For the price (I found them on sale for $.50 each on Amazon) they are a FABULOUS deal!

I purchased the cars along with the race track, they were offered as a recommendation by Amazon. These cars are too large however, and do not work fit the track. Othewise the toys is of good quality, as all Melissa and Doug toys.

I got my 3yr old son this race car set for his birthday as well as the Melissa & Doug Ramp Racer Set. These cars are too tall to fit down the ramps. On their own they are perfectly fine wooden cars, but I got them specifically for the ramp racer setup.

Customer Review: 2nd grade game
I bought this for my granddaughter who is in second grade. She has found the game fun, but quite challenging and occasionally frustrating at times. It has multiplication in it, which surprised me, as I did not think they did that in 2nd grade! Also, the game has prefixes and suffixes; also something I did not think they got to at this grade level. However, she IS learning,and generally having a good time doing so, and that is why I choose Leapster products!

My granddaughter loves the 2nd Grade Leapster “game”. Not really a game, since it is based on the 3 R’s but she says it makes learning fun. She is very bright (aren’t all grandchildren) but is often bored in school. My son says that this has helped her tremendously and that she now relates her school work to her Leapster. Not a bad thing when you consider that her generation is all about electronics. I will definitely buy one for my other granddaughter when she is ready for this level.
