Olé! Meet Spanish Barbie and thrill to the spectacle of fiestas, flamenco, and bullfights. Wearing a slim-fitting traje de luces (suit of lights), the traditional costume of toreadors, 12-inch Barbie is ready to dazzle crowds and bulls alike! A high-collared lacy white blouse offsets her black and metallic-gold cropped velvet vest, ornate bolero jacket with dramatic epaulets, and slender fitted pants. She’s got hot pink socks tucked up beneath her capri-length pants; flat black pumps finish the look (though Barbie’s high arches and pointed toes were not exactly designed to keep them on!). The traditional broad-brimmed toreador’s hat is stitched on at her temples, partly concealing her neatly upswept dark hair. A dashing red cape, sewn to her sleeve, cascades in folds to her feet. She can be displayed on the included stand or repositioned freely with her rotating neck, torso, shoulders, hips, and jointed knees. This Barbie was purchased for my daughter’s 13th birthday because she collects the Holiday Barbies and she was born in 1995. The doll won’t be taken out of the box, so there isn’t really much of a fun factor in that. Although she was very happy to have gotten it.

I WAS HAPPY TO GET THE LUCY DOLL IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER, BUT WAS DISSAPPOINTED IN THE BOX IT IS IN. IT IS CREASED ON THE SIDE FROM BEING PUT ON TOO SMALL OF A BOX FOR SHIPPING. IT IS A COLLECTIBLE DOLL AND THE CREASE IN THE BOX DECREASES ITS VALUE.
I want to add that the merchant was quick to respond and went above expected to make me a very happy customer.

I am a collector of Barbies and a huge fan of old hollywood movies, and costumes. I am a bigger fan of the movie “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” than I am of the “Seven Year Itch” but I think this doll is beautiful and will do anyone’s collection justice.

My name Chloe, I am a irish girl. When I bought this doll, I ran upstairs and started playing castle with my barbie hotel. I play with is everyday. It is my favorite barbie doll. Their clothes don’t rip unless you rip it in pieces like I did by accident. I don’t let anyone play with her unless they are very carefull with her. I named her Shannon McFee. I would defendly say that she is recomended for kids ages 7 and up and for those who are very carefull with her. I hope you guys will consider this doll to your collection. Have fun and be carefull.
Customer Review: My favorite Barbie Princess
The princess of Ireland is my favorite from the Dolls of the World series that I own. I think her best feature is her dark red hair which is almost auburn in color. Her least appealing feature is her makeup, which features lipstick that is too dark for her complexion. I only rate the durability of the doll at 3 stars because she really isn’t meant to be played with. I have not removed her from the box, or any of my other dolls from this series.
